Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop - CASE the Catalogue

Tonight we are having the Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop, organised by my talented and lovely friend, Jessie Holton.
And we are 'CASEing the Catalogue'.
CASE = Copy And Share Everything
My 'CASE the Catalogue' creation is from page 93 of the Annual Stampin' Up!® Catalogue  2017-2018 using the 'Beautiful Bouquet Bundle'.

I have pretty much CASEd everything, yet there are some subtle changes I have made.
I have changed up the Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Square focal point and sentiment.
The bouquet is the same, however, I have added a few die-cut leaves to change it ever so slightly. And the only embellishment I have used is the 'Linen Thread' bow.

'I couldn't have picked a better friend than you'
All the beautifully die-cut flowers for a beautiful bouquet.
Colours: Bermuda Bay, Calypso Coral, Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight, Pear Pizzazz & Pool Party.
This Bundle is truly gorgeous, and I bought it because of this inspiration from the Annual Catalogue.

Thankyou so much for hopping on by. Don't miss a thing and make sure you click on the links below to take you on a wonderful journey of CASEing the Catalogue. Next up is Ellen, and she has a fabulous creation for you to see. D x

Global Design Project - 'CASE the Designer' #gdp096

It's CASE the Designer time for the Global Design Project #gdp096, and we are CASEing the lovely Tanja Kolar from Germany.
CASE = Copy And Selectively Edit

I have similar elements to Tanja's creation, however, there are differences too. Let's see what I have created based on Tanja's beautiful Dragonfly card.

I swapped Tanja's Dragonfly for a 'Soft Sky' die-cut Butterfly.
I have also used the 'Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies' as the frame and placed the 'Delightful Daisy DSP' underneath the Vellum.

I painted 'Clear Wink of Stella' onto the die-cut Butterfly and it leaves a lovely glimmery effect. And a touch of 'Silver Metallic Thread' behind the Butterfly for some pretty.
The 'Thanks' sentiment is from the 'Weather Together' stampset, with such a gorgeous font.

These are all of the products I used for my Butterfly creation.
'Whisper White Notecards & Envelopes' - why make 1 card, when you can make up to 20! You can change up the sentiment, DSP, Cardstock colour or keep them all the same. Such a great way to get a whole stack of cards done at once.

Thankyou for paying me a visit, and I hope you get the opportunity to join in with this Challenge. See you next time. D x

Global Design Project - 'Theme Challenge' #gdp095

It's a Theme Challenge for this weeks Global Design Project #gdp095, and it's all about kids!

I made a couple of little things from the most adorable Bundle - 'A Little Wild'
It's the cutest. For this week anyway.

I have taken the backside of the little bear, and he is peeking through the pine needles to see who is turning 1!

Some die cut pine needles from the 'Pretty Pines Thinlits Dies', and the sentiment embossed using 'White Stampin' Emboss Powder'. Cute details.

I added the die cut '1' from the 'Wood Textures DSP Stack' and I couldn't resist adding the 3 little die cut bees. No wonder the little bear was looking inside the card.

And while I was at it, I made a few little gift tags.
Coloured with the wonderful 'Watercolor Pencils' and an 'Aqua Painter'. So, so cute!!!

Thankyou so much for being here.
I really do think you need the 'A Little Wild Bundle' in your life. My Mum is getting the elephant gift tag - because she loves elephants, and my brother is getting the lion gift tag - because his birthday is the end of July and he is a Leo. So, you don't always need kids in your life to enjoy this amazing Bundle. D x

Colour INKspiration Blog Hop #CI13

Get ready for the 'Colour INKspiration Colour Challenge' #CI13. You can play along too. Add your creation to our Facebook page - 'Colour INKspiration Challenges'.

As much as you look at the swatch, and see the colours, it's a given the 'Climbing Orchid Bundle' is the perfect option.
However, if you stretch your imagination, there are plenty of other options available.

Sweet Sugarplum, Wild Wasabi, Lemon Lime Twist & Fresh Fig.

I started with a 'Fresh Fig' base, and a floral.
A sweet & simple little floral, from the 'Label Me Pretty' Bundle.
I used the 'Layering Oval Framelits' & 'Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies' instead of the 'Pretty Label Punch'.

I coloured the image using a 'Blender Pen'. And some textured background using the 'Embossing Paste'. I love the Embossing Paste, and I love how my background turned out.

And this is what happens when you create thinking 'Berry Burst' is one of the colours in the swatch. Clearly, someone wasn't paying attention to the brief!, but another idea using the fabulous In Colors. You're welcome.

Thankyou so much for paying me a visit.
Now, keep on hopping to see some amazing creations. Next up is Lou - and you really need to see what Lou has created. Something gorgeous as always! D x
