Embossing Folder: 'Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder'

Die cut Christmas Tress with stars, sitting on an embossed (both dry & heat) 'Painted Labels Die'.
* Emboss 'Basic White' cardstock with the 'Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder'.
* Die cut using the large label from 'Painted Labels Die'.
* Smoosh the edges and part of the label into the 'Versamark Ink Pad'.
* Cover with 'Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder'.
* Heat the embossing powder with the 'Heat Tool'.

Stitched Scallop Trim from ''Gold Metallic Specialty Paper'
'White Baker’s Twine'

Be Cool • Be Chill • Be Merry

A little bit non traditional, and a little bit of fun for Christmas.

Inspire.Create.Stamping'CASE the Designer' Challenge #099

| on

We have a *CASE the Designer Challenge for inspire.create.stamping Challenges.
We are CASEing our very own Hannah, and her 'Sweet Strawberry' creation.
We would love for you to join in with our Challenge, and you can add your project here.
*CASE = Copy And Share Everything.

My creation uses the cute 'Penguin Place' stamp set and coordinating Sale-A-Bration 'Penguin Playmates Designer Series Paper'.

I have used 2 different designs of the Designer Series Paper for the card front, adhered to a 'Just Jade' layer, and a fussy cut Penguin and his little blue bird friend.

The sentiment is stamped using 'Misty Moonlight' ink with stamped off  'Pool Party' snowflakes.
The sentiment element is from the 'Painted Labels Dies'.
TIP: Die cut the 'Basic White' cardstock element first, then stamp the sentiment and add the snowflakes last.

A touch of 'White Baker’s Twine', and a few scattered Matte Silver 'Subtle Shimmer Sequins' for the finishing touch.

And the snowman needed to make an appearance. He has a 'Misty Moonlight' layer to coordinate with his hat & scarf.

The same sentiment element as the Penguin creation.

And 'White Baker’s Twine'.
Now, here's an idea - I think the twine could be coloured with a 'Dark Misty Moonlight Stampin' Blends Marker'?
And don’t forget those gorgeous little Matte Silver Subtle Shimmer Sequins'.

I just think these cards are so fun,  and very cute too!

Thankyou for paying me a visit, and I will see you for our 100th Challenge in a couple of weeks. D x

I just love a Creation Station Design Team Blog Hop and for the first Sunday in September, that's exactly what's in store.

You may have joined me from the incredible Elizabeth, or started with me? Hop along and be inspired by our team and our theme - 'Artfully Stepped Up'.

I have used the 'Sweet Ice Cream' stamp set & coordinating 'Ice Cream Cone Builder Punch'.
Stamps & Punches are a perfect start for a Beginner stamper, and you can see my 'Beginner' and 'Avid' creations below....

Punched ice cream cone; 'Crumb Cake'
Multipurpose Liquid Glue
Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad

Triple Scoop Ice Cream Cone
• Adhere the strip of DSP to the card base.
• Stamp the sentiment onto the card front.
• Punch the ice cream scoops & cone
• Adhere the ice cream scoops to the cone, then adhere to the card front.

As you can see, I have 'Zhuzhed' up my second card to next level!
Lots of detail, and added extras, to step up my first creation.
We always need a Flake chocolate in our ice cream, and thanks to Mikaela for her little bit of extra chocolate with my Strawberry ice cream.
My bow was inspired by Artisan Design Team member Tammy Wilson - and my bow looks nothing like a Tammy bow!

Ink pads: 'Blushing Bride', 'Flirty Flamingo', 'Crumb Cake' & 'Soft Suede'
'Basic White' card base
'Flirty Flamingo' layer
'Pattern Party Designer Series Paper' card front
'Flirty Flamingo' Stitched Scallop awning - scored using the 'Paper Trimmer'
'Flirty Flamingo' Scallop Circle
'Basic White' Circle
Ribbon; 'Blushing Bride Frayed Grosgrain' & 'White Crinkled Seam Binding'
'White Baker’s Twine'
'Subtle Shimmer Sequins'

And an added extra... a double scoop ice cream.
Strawberry and Mint Choc with a Flake chocolateon the side!

Which one is your favourite?
I'm not an over the top kinda girl, and I really loved making my triple scooped card.

Thankyou so much for visiting my Page and let's look forward to visiting my talented friend Sara Nell Langland. Sara's creations are always amazing and so inspiring.

See you next time. D x

Inspire.Create.Stamping 'Sketch' Challenge #098

| on

The Inspire.Create.Stamping Design Team have a cracker of a 'Sketch' Challenge.

You are more than welcome to join in, and add your project to our gallery here.

I do love the opportunity of a Sketch Challenge to use anything I desire, and this round I'm going all 'Gingerbread & Peppermint' for some no-stamping Christmas card creations.
How good is the 'Gingerbread & Peppermint Memories & More Card Pack', and coordinating 'Gingerbread & Peppermint Designer Series Paper'?

Some fussy cutting involved, embossing for the background, a sticker for the sentiment and some scattered sequins!

A 'Cinnamon Cider' card base with the 'Basic White' card front; the 'Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder' looking like icing/frosting with the cookie-like ornaments.

'It's beginning to taste a lot like Christmas'

'You're sugar and spice and everything nice'

Such a sweet trio, and there is more to be made!
Let your imagination run wild, and create some Christmas Cards with these products from the 'Gingerbread & Peppermint Suite'.
And not 1 stamp or ink pad used.

Thankyou for visiting, and I hope to see your 'Sketch Challenge projects in our gallery.

See you next time.  D x

Just Add Ink - 'Just Add N' Challenge #569

| on

It's a fun 'Just Add N' for the Just Add Ink Design Team Challenge.

What would you create using 'Just Add N'?

Add your project to our JAI gallery here.

I went to the back 9f the Annual Catalogue, looked under 'N' and found I had the 'Nothing's Better Than' stamp set & coordinating dies.

The card base is from the 'Gingerbread & Peppermint Memories & More Cards and Envelopes' - found in the Mini Catalogue.

'Coastal Cabana' cardstock.
Emboss with 'Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder'.
Die cut with 'Painted Labels Dies'.

Die cut 3 x 'Chocolate' sentiments using 'Cinnamon Cider' cardstock, and adhere together.
Paint with 'Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush'.

Stamp the sentiments, snip them apart and adhere to the Card base using 'Mini Stampin' Dimensionals'.

This was a fun card to make, and perfect for a guy or girl.
Maybe omit the 'Linen Thread' bow for the guys.

I'm looking forward to seeing what your 'Just Add N' project will be!
See you next Challenge. D x
