Welcome to the Stamping Sunday Design Team Blog Hop.

We have a merger, and we have a wonderful team of incredible International Stampin' Up! Demonstrators to showcase our first Blog Hop together; 'New Beginnings'.

We also have a new banner, and our Blog Hop will go live every 3rd Sunday of every month.

I have used a NEW Bundle and colour for my 'New Beginnings' card.

I have used the fun 'Circle Sayings Bundle' with a NEW colour - 'Lemon Lolly' for my creation.
I just love the little cupcake!

And I'm loving the polka dot 'Vellum Basics 12" x 12" Specialty Designer Series Paper'! I think it makes for a great background and covering the 'Crumb Cake' card base.

Happy Birthday stamped onto a 'Designer Tags Dies' giving some lovely, stitched detail and die cut gorgeousness to the banner.

Below is the list of our Design Team, and you can click on the NEXT BLOG to visit Mikaela from the UK. I know you are going to love Mikaela's creation...

Hello, and welcome to my blog.

The Creation Station Design Team are Blog Hopping with our 'Dots and Spots' theme for the month of May. You have hopped to me from the Martin in the UK, or have started with me in Australia?

Get ready for a wonderful treat of our 'Dot and Spots' creations, and I hope you enjoy my card and gift tags...

The 'Spotlight' technique.
The coloured floral element is set against the monochromatic Black, Grey & White on a 'spot' using a stitched circle from the 'Stylish Shapes Dies' and 'Basic Black' circle using the new 2-3/8" (6cm) Circle Punch.

I have coloured the 'Basic White' cardstock circle element with 'Tahitian Tide' ink and a 'Blending Brush'.
Adhering the die cut 'Sweet Sorbet' flower with 'Daffodil Delight' centre, and 'Parakeet Party' stem & leaves aligned with the stamped 'Basic Gray' stem & leaves.

Another 'Dots and Spots' element is the card front - hobnail glass dots from the 'Basics 3D Embossing Folders'.

'Tahitian Tide', 'Orchid Oasis' & 'Starry Sky' coloured die cut Butterflies and sentiments for these darling gift tags.

The products used to create my 'Birthday Wishes' gift tags.

Next up is Elizabeth and her always amazing creations!

Thankyou for taking the time to visit, and I'll see you next month.

Stamping Sunday Blog Hop - 'Picture This'

It's time for the Stamping Sunday Design Team Blog Hop.

Our theme is 'Picture This', and we are using current Stampin' Up!®️ products before the new 2023-2024 Annual Catalogue products become available 1st May, 2023.

I found a blue photo frame in the depths of my craft room, and I remembered a photo of my 2 boys on a Clipper that would be a great starting point for my 'Picture This' creation...

I have literally made a framed Scrap page, and this is something I need to do more of...

Way back in January 2020, we holidayed in Airlie Beach, Queensland Australia - The beautiful Whitsundays.

The 'Clipper Round the World Race' leg from Perth, moored at Abel Point Marina.

(I was in my element!)

The 'Let's Set Sail Bundle' was my go to for my creation, using 'Pacific Point', 'Poppy Parade' & 'Mango Melody' sails for my Yachts.
(I know they're not Clippers, but they were a perfect element for my page)
I made the water using the 'Baby Wipe Technique' dropping 'Balmy Blue & 'Coastal Cabana' ink from the refills onto a 'Baby Wipe', stamping the water image onto my ready made ink pad, and stamping directly to the 'Basic White' cardstock.

A heat embossed sentiment to add some detail to my page.

Finishing off with the blue frame.

Below are my amazing team members, Sharni & Ruth, with their creations.
Enjoy, and see you next time. D x
