Social Stamping - 'Hello'

Hello!
How are you?
With everyone adhering to social distancing, self isolating, and those that are Home Schooling, Kelly has rounded up a bunch of us for a Blog Hop to share some creations with the very apt theme: 'Hello'.

As we, and the world, are dealing with the Covid-19 Pandemic,
my husband and I are considered 'Essential' workers; I am a Registered Nurse, and my Husband is a Principal/Teacher in a Primary School.
We are both tired and adapting to the situation, however, we are all OK.
Thank goodness I have 'Stampin' Up!' in my life for some downtime, and creating is the best therapy!

I am missing the social interaction with Classes, Sports and catching up with friends for a cuppa.
My creation reflects when we will get to interact with everyone again soon and enjoy a cup of coffee, a cup of tea, or even a cup of wine together.

'Hello - let's hang out soon'.
I love the background using the 'Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder'.

A lovely stack of some bright & cheery colours.
I have added the little tea tag with some 'Whisper White Baker's twine' and a stapler, and a bit of some fussy cutting for the flower & leaves.

Next on the hop is Jo
You will love Jo's creation, they are always a show stopper, and be sure to visit the other blogs for some 'Hello' happiness.

Thanks again to Kelly for organising this wonderful Blog Hop.
Stay safe, stay well, and please stay home.

* Flirty Flamingo cardstock x 2
* Petal Pink cardstock x 1
* Perrenial Essence Floral Centre x 1
* Snip tips of petals to create spiky petals.

Popping Candy mini Easter eggs!

Caramel mini Easter eggs!
Cover the wording of the sentiment with Washi Tape, leaving the 'Happy Easter' part of the sentiment. Stamp onto the ink pad, then remove the Washi Tape before stamping onto 'Whisper White' cardstock.
Adhere inside the treat box to reveal when opened!

My boys wanted a bit of the action, and are happy to model these darling little Easter treats.

Thankyou so much for paying me a visit, and I can't wait to see your Just Add "E" projects.
See you next time. D x

PS: My inspiration...
This is an Everlasting Daisy, otherwise known as
Xerochrysm bracteatum in the Botanical world.
Isn't it glorious?

Hello, and welcome to my Blog.
The Colour INKspiration Crew have some gorgeous creations for you to see for our new Colour Challenge #74.

We would love to see your projects in our gallery, and you can add them here.
The Challenge colours are below:

This photo was taken on the Greek Island, Mykonos, by our very own Simone Bartrum.
Simone captured this gorgeous scene whilst cruising the '2019 Greek Isles Incentive Trip'.

I have used the 'Sailing Home Bundle' + 'Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack'
for my masculine creation.

A very simple design using the 4 colours as the cardstock background, and the card front being the 'Laser-cut Lighthouse Specialty Card'.
Adhered to a 'Whisper White' card base.

Thankyou for visiting my blog, and I hope to have inspired you to use the
'Memories & More Card Pack'.
Now more than ever, it's the perfect time to be creating and making lots of stuff.
Take care, and see you for the next Challenge. D x

Stamping Sunday Blog Hop - Mini & Annual Favourites

| on
19:00
It's time for the Stamping Sunday Design Team Blog Hop!
We have created some gorgeous projects using products from the Mini & Annual Catalogues.

With Easter around the corner, I have chosen the 'Timeless Tulips Bundle', found in the Mini Catalogue, and have teamed it with the cutest 'Fable Friends' stamp set from the Annual Catalogue.

The tulips, leaves & stems are stamped using 'Smoky Slate' ink.
*Stamp off the ink onto scrap paper, and then stamp onto the 'Whisper White' cardstock card front.
Start with a single stamped tulip (in the middle).
Punch the tulip and leaf from cardstock, and use these as masks to keep building the bouquet.
If there is some gapping next to the tulips and leaves after stamping, lightly use the Basic Gray 'Watercolor Pencil' to fill in the gaps.

'Happy Easter'
The bunny from the 'Fable Friends' stamp set. I just love him!
Stamping with Memento ink, and colouring with 'Stampin' Blends Markers'.

The sentiment is just the 'Happy Easter' part of a longer sentiment in the 'Timeless Tulips' stamp set.
I covered the rest of the sentiment with Washi tape, and inked only the 'Happy Easter'. Removing the Washi tape before stamping onto 'Whisper White' cardstock, and snipping the ends to make a banner.

And a belly-banded 'Baker's Box'!
Inside are 4 chicken eggs, as I haven't purchased chocolate Easter eggs yet.

The Belly band is 5cm or 2" wide, and wrapped around the 'Baker's Box'. (The Circle element is adhered over the seam.)
Prior to wrapping, I embossed the top and sides of the cardstock using the 'Country Floral 3D Embossing Folder'.
And if you know me, I always love to add some 'Baker's Twine' and a bow to complete my creations.

Below are the magnificent Stamping Sunday Design Team, and get ready for some amazing creations from these incredibly talented people.
Thankyou so much for visiting me, and I will see you next time.
