Hi there!

It's the 4th Sunday in the month, and the 'Stamping Sunday Design Team Blog Hop' is happening. We are  sharing our creations with the theme of 'Life us a Wild Ride'.

My creations are literally a ride using a Scooter; Moped/Vespa and a bicycle...

The cutest little pig riding a scooter!, is my first 'Wild ride' creation.
Teamed with the gorgeous 'Country Floral Lane 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper' using the 'Balmy Blue' hearts pattern for my card front.

So, I may have had a little mishap with the 'Multipurpose Liquid Glue' and scattered the Blue 'For Everything Fancy Sequins' to hide the glue mark on the 'Burlap Ribbon'.
Oops-a-daisy!
Tied with 'White Baker's Twine'.

'Happy, happy Birthday!'
I have coloured the pic & Scooter' with 'Stampin' Blends Markers', die cutting the stamped image using a 'Stitched Rectangle Die'.

Next up is a gift box.
The measurement of the cardstock: 7" x 11"
Score: 1"/4/6/9 and 2" from the bottom, snip and tab.
Designer Series Paper: 11-1/2" x 3" - wrap and adhere to the box.
Punch a hole and add 'Burlap Ribbon' and tie a bow.

I used the 'Crumb Cake Stampin' Write Marker' to mark the flower images, and stamped directly to 'Crumb Cake' cardstock.
I stamped the 'Enjoy the Ride!' sentiment, and die cut with a 'Tailor Made Tags Die'.
Tying the tag to the ribbon with 'White Baker's Twine'.

Creation Station Design Team Blog Hop - Ink Blending

| on
01:00

It's the month of March, and the 'Creation Station Design Team' are Blog Hopping.

This months theme is 'Ink Blending' and we hope to inspire you with our creations.

I have used 'Blending Brushes' and 'Sponge Daubers' as my tools to blend my ink for my 2 creations...

I have used the retiring inks from the '2021-2023 In Colors' and one of my favourite stamp sets 'Dragonfly Garden'.

Die cut the circles with the largest circle from the 'Stylish Shapes Dies' and 'Basic White' cardstock.
Stamp the images using 'Versamark ink' and smother the images with 'White Stampin' Emboss Powder'.
Set the powder with the 'Heat Tool'.
Get your 'Blending Brushes' ready and start out with the 'Pale Papaya' ink, then gently add the 'Polished Pink' ink finishing with 'Fresh Freesia' ink at the top.
Rub away the ink from the embossed image with some paper towel, to reveal the embossed image.

Splash the ink blended circle element with water - using the 'Heat Tool' to dry the water splashed onto the element.
Add 5 'Gold' sequins from the 'For Everything Fancy Sequins'; randomly adhered to the circle element & sentiment.
The 'Quatrefoil Tile Embossing Folder' makes for a lovely background.

Die cut a tag from 'Soft Succulent' cardstock using 'Tailor Made Tags Dies'.
Grab a 'Sponge Dauber' and sponge 'Evergreen' onto the top half of the tag.
Stamp the floral image onto the tag using 'Versamark ink' and and smother the image with 'White Stampin' Emboss Powder'.
Set the powder with the 'Heat Tool'.
Splash the inked area with water - using the 'Heat Tool' to dry the water splashed onto the tag.

Stamp the dragonfly image using 'Tuxedo Black Memento' ink onto 'Basic White' cardstock.
Blend 'Pale Papaya', 'Fresh Freesia' & 'Polished Pink' ink with 'Sponge Daubers'.
Once the cardstock is dry, punch with the 'Dragonflies Punch'.
Adhere to the tag with 'Mini Stampin' Dimensionals'.
Some 'Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush' was added to the Dragonfly for some simple sparkle.
Tie some 'Sahara Sand Twill Ribbon' and 'White Baker's Twine' to complete the tag.

Sara Nell Langland is next on our Blog Hop, and I can't wait to see her 'Ink Blending' projects!

Thankyou for visiting, and I hope you enjoy our 'Ink Blending' Blog Hop.
See you next month. D x
