Hello, and welcome to my blog!
This week is an Animals/Pets 'Theme' Challenge for the Global Design Project #gdp059.
There are quite a few Stampin' Up! stamp sets that have animals, and the 'Foxy Friends' is my favourite of all, but I haven't used the  cute 'Barnyard Babies' stamp set for a while.

And this is my Animals/Pets creation...

A content little horse in his paddock.

I just love this horse! And he looks so happy in his surrounds. The sun is shining, and there is plenty of green grass for him to eat. What more could a horse ask for?

Global Design Project - 'Sketch Challenge' #gdp058

Hi there. Today is a 'Sketch Challenge' for the Global Design Project #gdp058
I love a Sketch Challenge - it's a fantastic opportunity to unleash your creativity. Whether it's a favourite stampset or Designer Series Paper or a colour combination or embellishments, you can create whatever you desire.
I was looking at my 'Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Paper', and thinking of the coordinating colours - Real Red & Early Espresso, to make my creation...

I really love the cute little Gingerbread Houses from the 'Candy Cane Lane DSP'. I fussy cut the Gingerbread Houses (you can cut 29 houses from 1 sheet of DSP!) and I love fussy cutting too.

The background under the house is a square of Whisper White cardstock embossed using the 'Softly Falling Textured Impression Embossing Folder'. And the sweet 'Merry Christmas' stamp from the very versatile 'Teeny Tiny Sentiments' stampset.
I applied the embossed cardstock both ways; embossed & debossed, and adhered a Real Red cardstock mat underneath. Finally, a strip of another design from the 'Candy Cane Lane' DSP to go underneath.

Thankyou for visiting, and I hope to have inspired you to get making for your Christmas cards! It's just around the corner.

Today, we have International Project Highlights using current Stampin' Up!® Products and a gorgeous gallery of creations to inspire you. And a huge thanks to Kylie Bertucci for organising such a fun idea! I can't wait to see the creations!

My creation using the gorgeous 'Fruit Stand Designer Series Paper'
and the 'Time of Year' Host-only stamp set'
(*This host-only stamp set is only available with Stampin’ Rewards)
I really love the 'Fruit Stand DSP', and this time I teamed it with the 'Time of Year' Hostess stampset using 'Basic Black Archival Ink' and some 'Basic Black Solid Baker's Twine'.
A very Bright & Bold Happy Birthday card using 'Daffodil Delight'.

While I was at it, I made up a few more cards using the 'Fruit Stand A4 Cardstock' in colours of Pear Pizzazz, Peekaboo Peach & Watermelon Wonder.
It's fun stamping straight onto the DSP, and a lovely way to use this gorgeous paper. My friend Kylie says #loveitchopit.

My creation for this week:

Using the 'Jar of Love Bundle', and 'Fancy Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper'.
Do you know the easiest way to make a card?
I love the 'Whisper White Notecards and Envelopes'; they're ready for you to make and send a card. And they also come in 'Crumb Cake'.
* 20 Whisper White cards: 5" x 3-1/2" (12.7 x 8.9 cm)
* 20 Whisper White envelopes: 5-1/8" x 3-5/8" (13 x 9.2 cm)

A touch of 'Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper' makes a lovely accent with the flowers, and a teeny bow.

Thankyou for visiting today, and I hope you can join in this weeks Challenge? Have a wonderful week. D x

Global Design Project - CASE the Designer Challenge #gdp056

| on
11:04
Hello. It's the last day of School Holidays, and we have had an amazing holiday this past week. Catch ups with friends, sunny days, beach days and whale watching everyday! It has been the lovliest week away with my boys and a rejuvination of the soul. Now, it's time to get creating...
This week we are CASEing the amazing Bibi Cameron for the Global Design Project #gdp056.

My creation using the 'Fairy Celebration' stampset...

This fun little fairy is stamped onto 'Shimmery White' cardstock and coloured using a combination of 'Classic Stampin' Pads' & 'Stampin' Write Markers' with 'Aqua Painters' & 'Blender Pens'.
The card base has been stamped with the Fairy Dust stamp and 'Whisper White Craft Stampin' Pad'.

CASE - Copy And Selectivley Edit.
I have copied Bibi's creation using the 'Flirty Flamingo' card base, the Fairy instead of the porch Swing, and the tiny banner with a bow. Same but different!

I added a little bit of 'Fine-Tip Glue Pen' to the outline and spots of the fairies' wings, then sprinkled with 'Dazzling Diamonds Stampin' Glitter' for a little bit of sparkle.

Thankyou for your visit. Have a magical day.

Creation Station Design Team Blog Hop - 'To Die For'

| on
00:00

Welcome to my Blog, and to the October 'Creation Station Design Team Blog Hop'. This month we are using our 'Framelits' & 'Thinlits' Dies and creating something a bit different than what they are intended. (Hence, the 'To Die For' Title.)
You maybe visiting me from Kathy's Blog, or have come from Julie's Blog? Thankyou for being here, and I hope you enjoy my creations.

And along comes the cutest 'Cookie Cutter Halloween' stampset and coordinating 'Cookie Cutter Builder Punch'.

I have gone out of my comfort zone this month, and have made some really cute Halloween Treat Bags. We're not so big about Halloween Down Under, but in the last few years, Halloween Parties have become big time in Australia.
I have made Adult version Treat Bags. Surely the children get enough sugary treats from the neighbours?

I have used the 'Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies', and have made a bigger version of the Treat Bag by expanding the sides to fill with treats. Instead of an Envelope Style Treat Bag, I made a larger version to fit Chocolate Bars and other treats.

Cut 2 of the largest 'Treat Bag Dies' & score 1 cm on the side. Snip the top edge at the scored side & adhere both pieces together using the scored edges.
Cut a length of cardstock 4cm x 11.5 cm - scoring at 1cm & 10.5cm on the ends - you can add a bottom to your treat bag using the tabs from the die cut to keep all your treats within the bag.

*Our retail shops have filled our treat aisles with Christmas items! I know - Halloween is before Christmas but where I live there is not even a chocolate eyeball, and I had some funny looks when I asked for Halloween treats at the end of September! Especially chocolate eyeballs!

While we are on the subject of the 'Cookie Cutter Halloween stampset & Punch', and on a rainy School Holiday morning... my boys and I came up with some Stampin' Up! Ninjago characters.

I saw a Ninja character on Pinterest made by Delys Cram and this took us on our Ninjago adventure...

Thankyou for visiting, and I hope I have inspired you to make some Treat Bags ready for Halloween? They are so fun to make.

Hello, and welcome to our 'World Card Making Day Blog Hop',
using current Stampin' Up!® Products.
You are visiting my blog: I am Denita - a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator from Australia, and you will be visiting lots of different blogs and getting lots of inspiration along the way.
I am so happy you are here.
If you get off track at anytime, you can find the list of Bloggers at the end of my post to keep on hopping.

This is my creation for World Card Making Day 2016...

Very Vanilla & 'Copper'; Embossing Powder, Foil Sheets, Metallic Thread and 'Washi Tape' (inside). Perfection!

I am loving the Copper elements at the moment; Copper is such a beautiful and warm complement - especially with cards and anything papercraft.

The lovely 'Birthday Blooms' stampset  & 'Cottage Garden' stampset. They coordinate beautifully and I love the simplicity of this card.

Thankyou for visiting me, and I hope you enjoy World Card Making Day 2016. Be sure to visit everyone in the list for some amazing inspiration. D x
