Colour INKspiration #CI45

Hello, and welcome to my blog.
The Colour INKspiration Crew have been busy creating, and we can't wait to see your creations in our gallery.
You can add your project to our gallery here.

You may have hopped to me from my gorgeous friend Rose, or have started with me? Either way, you are in for a treat with our latest Colour Challenge.

Our beautiful 2017-2019 In Color Collection; Berry Burst, Fresh Fig, Lemon Lime Twist, Powder Pink & Tranquil Tide.

You can use 1, 2, 3, 4 or all 5 of the Colours for this Challenge,

as well as Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Whisper White & Metallics.

I have created a Bush Fairy, using the delightful 'Fairy Celebration' stamp set.

My background is the divine and shimmery 'Frosted Floral Specialty Designer Series Paper'. The leaves on this piece remind me of Eucalypt leaves (Gum leaves), and this was the basis of my Bush Fairy design.

Even the fairy wings look like leaves!

Especially when coloured with 'Tranquil Tide', and some 'Clear Wink of Stella' glitter added for extra shimmer.

The leaves have been stamped using the 'Perennial Birthday' stamp set, and fussy cut to add some dimension.

I have used 4 of the colours; 'Fresh Fig' for the sentiment, 'Lemon Lime Twist', 'Powder Pink' for the skin tone & 'Tranquil Tide'.

The added 'Gold Metallic Thread' looped behind the circle element, and 'Gold Foil' for the punched heart and trim on the sentiment leave a lovely touch for my Bush Fairy card.

Next on the Blog Hop is my lovely friend, Lou.

You are going to love Lou's Christmas creation.

Thankyou for paying me a visit, and I hope to have inspired you with my 'Fairy Celebration' Bush Fairy creation?

See you for the next Challenge. D x

Colour INKspiration #CI44

It's time for a Colour INKspiration Colour Challenge!
Thankyou for being here. You may have hopped from Julia, and her gorgeous creation, or have started with me.
Have fun blog hopping with our Crew and you are more than welcome to join in and add your creations to our gallery here.

This round we have a lovely Subtles & Neutral combination... and it runs for 3 weeks!

Sahara Sand, Blushing Bride, Highland Heather, Whisper White & Pear Pizzazz.

You can also use Basic Black, Very Vanilla & Metallics.

I have made some non-traditional Christmas notecards, using the 'Cookie Cutter Christmas' stamp set and coordinating 'Cookie Cutter Builder Punch'.

'Sahara Sand' stamped bears onto 'Sahara Sand' cardstock, and matchy-matchy bow ties & hair bows.

'Have yourself a Beary Merry Christmas'

The cutest little sentiment to match the cutest bear duo.

The hearts are punched from the 'Cookie Cutter Builder Punch' - if I have any scrap cardstock, I punch out a bunch of hearts and use them for my projects. Keep them in a container for safe keeping ❤

And there is my little trio of notecards being cute and all!

Thankyou for visiting me.

Now it's time to hop on over to Tanya's blog and see her 'amazing' project.

See you next time. D x

Just Add Ink - Just Choose Two #JAI422

We are having a 'Just Choose Two' for the Just Add Ink Challenge #422
The JAI Design Team have been busy creating to inspire you.
Go and see what everyone has been up to!
We hope you can join in wih this fun Challenge?, and you can add you creations to our gallery here.

I have started on my Christmas creations.

I have chosen Embossing Powder + Embossing Folder as my 2.

I have used 'Black Stampin' Emboss Powder' to outline Santa, then coloured him with 'Stampin' Blends Markers'.

The background is the 'Softly Falling Textured Impressions Embossing Folder'.

I coloured the 'Whisper White Baker's Twine using the 'Light Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Blends Marker'.

And then I found some Candy Cane Hershey's Kisses, and put them into a dressed up jar.

I added a tag; embossed sentiment, and die-cut using the Gift Tag die from the 'Wood Crate Framelits Dies'.

And some more coloured 'Whisper White Baker's Twine'.

I think these would make perfect Teacher's Gifts for Christmas?

Thankyou so much for paying me a visit, and I hope you like my creations?

I can't wait to see what you create.

See you next time. D x
