Hello, and welcome to my blog!
It's the very last Sunday of 2019, and the 'Stamping Sunday Design Team' are showcasing our favourite products from the NEW 2020 Mini Catalogue, available 3rd January, 2020.

Thankyou for joining me from Yvonne's Blog, or you may have started right here?
Enjoy what we have created for you, and we hope to inspire you with some gorgeous NEW products.
Get your Wishlist ready...

I have created a 'Tropical Oasis' Shirt (not my design and how to make details below),
and a card; remeniscent of a vintage style post card.

I stamped the Palm trees using 'Soft Suede' ink onto 'Very Vanilla' cardstock. Colouring the trees with 'Watercolor Pencils' and a 'Blender Pen'.
I daubed the edges of the die cut using a 'Sponge Dauber' and 'Crumb Cake' ink.

The oval element has been embossed with the NEW 'Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder'.
I then used the largest oval from the 'Stitched Shapes Dies'.

The Palm Trees background from the divine 'Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper'.
The 'Hello' sentiment stamped with 'Early Espresso' ink.

'Tropical Oasis DSP' shirt.
You can make 2 shirts from 1 piece of DSP,
and the tutorial to make your very own 'Tropical Oasis' shirt is here
Thanks to Carolyn Bennie for her Tropical shirt photographic tutorial - the best tutorial I have found!

'Rest & Relax. You deserve it'
Card insert: 7.5cm x 10 cm or 3" x 4" (trim if required)

Details...
Buttons: I created Coconut buttons by stamping the 'Birch Background' stamp using 'Soft Suede' ink onto 'Soft Suede' cardstock.
Punching with a very small circle punch (from the 'Itty Bitty Bit Punch Set'), and making the dots with an 'Early Espresso' Stampin' Write Marker.
Pocket: Using the smallest die from the 'Stitched Nested Labels, die cut the DSP matching the shirt.
Trim approximatley 8mm or 3/4" from 1 end.
Fold over 3mm or 2/8", showing the back of the DSP.
Adhere the pocket flap, and adhere the pocket to the shirt.

Thankyou so much for being here, and I hope you have enjoyed my creations?
Below is the list of the fabulous Stamping Sunday Design Team, and you won't be disappointed with what everyone has to share.
Wishing you a wonderful end to 2019, and looking forward to seeing you in 2020 - with the NEW Mini Catalogue!

Yummy Christmas - 'Use Your Favourites!' Challenge #tgifc243

Today, I have decided to create for TGIF Challenges.
This Challenge, we are to use our 'Favourite' products from the 2019 Holiday Catalogue!

I am using my favourite 'Yummy Christmas' stamp set, and my favourite
'Itty Bitty Christmas' stamp set for my sentiment.

I adore the Gingerbread House from the 'Yummy Christmas' stamp set,
and I have set the scene for an Australian Christmas.
Very warm and tropical for us Down Under. Definitely no snow!

I have a beautiful friend, who lives in a Yellow house.
With a Lavender hedge along her fence, and a Frangipani tree in her garden!

'Merry Christmas'
My Frangipanis, and leaves, are die-cut from the 'In the Tropics' Dies
available in the NEW 2020 Mini Catalogue.

Thankyou for visiting my blog, and I wish you all a
very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year. D x

I love a Sketch Challenge, and this week the Just Add Ink Design Team have a beauty!
We have some gorgeous creations to inspire you, and we would love for you to join in the fun too. Create your own project, and upload it to our gallery here!

Below is the Sketch Challenge, and we can't wait to see what you create!

I have used a combination of Christmas stamp sets, and the gorgeous
'Wrapped in Plaid' Designer Series Paper.

I love the Cherry Cobbler & White polka dots -
making such a sweet background for my Holly & berries.

Details:
  • Holly & berries are from the 'Yummy Christmas' stamp set. Stamped using 'Memento Black Ink Pad', and coloured with 'Stampin' Blends Markers'.
  • Scripty 3D Embossing Folder for the centre panel.
  • Gold embossing on Basic Black cardstock for a standout sentiment banner. Stamp set: 'Itty Bitty Christmas'.
I do love non-traditional Christmas colours, however, I really love what
I have created here using Cherry Cobbler & Shaded Spruce.
The added touches of Gold & Basic Black add a special element,
especially for a Christmas card.

Thankyou for visiting my blog, and now you can go visit the talent of the
Just Add Ink Design Team, and their amazing 'Sketch Challenge' creations.
We will be back in action after the Christmas/New Year
for a new Challenge 17th January, 2020.

Merry Christmas to you, and yours. D x
