Inspire.Create.Stamping Challenges Blog Hop - 'CASE the Designer' Challenge #072

The inspire.create Stamping Challenges Design Team are *CASEing Kate Bolt.
Below is Kate's creation from a previous post, and we invite you to join in the fun of our Challenge.

For my take on Kate's creation, I have turned my card to Landscape, and I have used the 'Free as a Bird' stamp set.

I have stamped the birds on the branch image onto 'Very Vanilla' cardstock, and coloured with a mix of 'Stampin' Blends Markers', and 'Watercolor Pencils'.
The leaves have been stamped onto the cardstock and coloured, and the flowers & bud have been coloured and fussycut - adhered on top of the leaves.

For the top left rectangle, I embossed the cardstock using the 'Scripty 3D Embossing Folder' then die cut with a 'Stitched Rectangle Die'. 
Wrapping the top part of the embossed rectangle with some 'Linen Thread'.

I attached 'Stampin' Dimensionals' to the back of the sentiment to give 

it a lift from the card base.

I used my 'Paper Snips' to roughen the edges of the 'Crumb Cake' 

layer prior to adhering to the card base.

Just Add Ink - Sketch Challenge #487

I love a Sketch Challenge, and this week the Just Add Ink Design Team have a beauty!

Below is the Sketch Challenge, and we can't wait to see what you create!

I have used a combination of Christmas stamp sets, and the gorgeous 

'Wrapped in Plaid' Designer Series Paper.

I love the Cherry Cobbler & White polka dots - 
making such a sweet background for my Holly & berries.

Details: 

• Holly & berries are from the 'Yummy Christmas' stamp set. Stamped using 'Memento Black Ink Pad', and coloured with 'Stampin' Blends Markers'.
• Scripty 3D Embossing Folder for the centre panel.
• Gold embossing on Basic Black cardstock for a standout sentiment banner. Stamp set: 'Itty Bitty Christmas'. 

I do love non-traditional Christmas colours, however, I really love what 

I have created here using Cherry Cobbler & Shaded Spruce.

The added touches of Gold & Basic Black add a special element, 

especially for a Christmas card.

Stamping Sunday Blog Hop - Night Before Christmas

Hello, and welcome to my blog!
I am Denita, and I live in Australia. The Stamping Sunday Design Team are blog hopping, and we are using products from the 'Night Before Christmas Suite'.
Be sure to visit the Design Teams blogs, for all sorts of gorgeous inspiration using this beautiful Christmas Suite.

I have created for the Beginner, Casual and Avid Crafters.

Below are my creations using the 'Night Before Christmas Memories & More Card Pack' 

+ coordinating 'Night Before Christmas Memories & More Cards & Envelopes'.

   

Beginner Crafter cards: Simply gorgeous & easy peasy!

You will need:

'Night Before Christmas Memories & More Card Pack' small cards

'Night Before Christmas Memories & More Cards & Envelopes'

'Stampin' Dimensionals'

1. Adhere approximately 6 Stampin' Dimensionals to the back of the small card from the 'Memories & More Card Pack'.

2. Remove the backing from the 'Stampin' Dimensionals'.

3. Adhere the small card directly to the 'Memories & More Card', and adhere the holly sticker (from the sticker sheet) to the 'Memories & More Envelope'.

*Tip: If mailing the card, place the sticker into the bottom left of the envelope.

Casual Crafter cards:

A step-up from the Beginner cards, using the large cards, 'Itty Bitty Christmas' stamp set, 'Cherry Cobbler' cardstock, 'Subtle Dynamic TIEF', 'Stitched Recangle Dies', 'Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels' & 'Linen Thread'.

1. Emboss the front of the card base using the 'Subtle Dynamic TIEF'.

2. Use the largest 'Stitched Rectangle Die' to trim down the 'Memories & More' card front.

3. Add the coloured 'Holiday Rhinestones Basic Jewels' to the stars, for some Christmas bling!

 Avid Crafter 3D Gift Box:

I have made a Christmas Gift Box using the 'Perfect Parcel Dies'.

1. Emboss 'Mossy Meadow' cardstock using the 'Scripty 3D Embossing Folder'. Trim and adhere to the sides of the box.

2. Trim the small card from the 'Memories & More' card pack, and adhere to one of the closing features on the lid.

3. Wrap with 'Cherry Cobbler Diagonal Stripe Ribbon'.

4. Add a stamped & die cut gift tag, and secure with 'Linen Thread'.
