Are you ready for a Colour Challenge?

The Colour INKspiration Crew have quite the Colour Challenge for you, and I gotta say, the Crew had some moments with the lovely colours chosen by Elizabeth.

And that's why we call it a Challenge! Am I right?

Please check out the Crews creations, and we would love for you to join in and add your project to our gallery here.

'Pale Papaya', 'Cajun Craze', 'Basic Black' & 'Shaded Spruce'.
You can also use 'Basic White', 'Crumb Cake', Sahara Sand', 'Very Vanilla' & Metallics.

To begin with.... 1,000 apolgies as I have used the retired 'Snailed It' stamp set for my creation.
It's not often I use retired products, but the Inspiration image sang to me, and I had to use the mushroom and foliage stamp from this cute set.

I have coloured the stamped image using 'Stampin' Blends Markers' in the Challenge colours. Outlining the image with the 'Light Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends Marker'.

Die cut using the 'Layering Circle Dies'.

Stamp the sentiment onto 'Very Vanilla' cardstock using 'Cajun Craze' ink.
Place the cardstock into the 'Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder' and run through the 'Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine.
Decorate with some 'Gold Shimmer Ribbon' and 'Linen Thread'.

Thankyou for paying me a visit, and I hope to have inspired you to join in with our Colour Challenge.
See you next time. D x

Be prepared for what the Design Team have created, and add your project to our gallery.

A fun 'Sketch' to inspire you, and you can use any colour way, stamp set and embellishments!

My 'Happy Birthday' card using lots of different elements.
My card front is from the 'What a Year Memories & More Card Pack'.

I embossed the 'Bumblebee' cardstock using 'Embossing Paste' and the dots from the 'Basic Pattern Decorative Masks'.
Die cutting the embossed cardstock with the largest circle from the 'Layering Circles Dies', and a backing of a scallop edged circle from 'Basic White' cardstock.
Topping the circle elements with a flower and leaves from the 'Pierced Bloom Dies'.

The Happy Birthday' sentiment is from the 'Art Gallery' stamp set using the coordinating 'Floral Gallery Dies'.
The Gold Bumblebee Trinket is such a cute little finish to my card.

Thankyou for visiting, and I hope to have inspired you to join in with our Challenge?
I'll see you next time. D x

Stamping Sunday Blog Hop - 'Loaded Envelope'

| on
19:00

It's the 4th Sunday in the month, and it's Stamping Sunday Blog Hop Time!

Our theme this month is to create a 'Loaded Envelope'.

Have you ever heard of a 'Loaded Envelope'?
Me neither, however Pinterest was a great help, and I will show you what I have made. Then you will know what I'm talking about.

I have used the 'Whimsy & Wonder Suite', and I have loaded the 2 pockets with lots of lovely stuff.

I have used a 12" x 12" piece of 'Whimsy & Wonder Designer Series Paper' for my envelope with 2 pockets.
Please visit Sam McGowan from 'The Scottish Crafter' to see how to make your very own Loaded Envelope. I just love her accent!, and her creation.

Packed with goodies to create lots of cards, tags and gift bags for Christmas.

How sweet is this Loaded Envelope?
All ready to be filled up with some bits & pieces.

I wrapped and tied the 'Blushing Bride Frayed Grosgrain Ribbon' around the envelope and added a couple of tags - the only stamped items.

3 x 'Love, Santa Treat Bags'.

Card fronts to make 4 cards - using 6"x 6" of the Designer Series Paper.
I added the 'Stitched With Whimsy Dies' to one of the panels.

Another lot of card fronts using the Christmas Trees Pattern with 'Mint Macaron'.

3 x card fronts.

4 x die cut Christmas trees & decoration; 'Mossy Meadow & Polished Pink' and 'Mint Macaron & Blushing Bride'.

6 x Iridescent Foil 'Wonderful Snowflakes'.

A selection of ribbons, Linen Thread & Twine - some are retired, but coordinate beautifully with the colours of the Suite.

A little bag of die cuts; trees, tags, stars and 'Blushing Bride Metallic Specialty Paper'.

Are you ready for some more gorgeous 'Loaded Envelopes'?

See you next time. D x
