Hello, and welcome to my blog!

The Colour INKspiration Crew have a new Colour Challenge, and this Challenge we are using the 2022-2024 In Colors.

You can add your project to our gallery here.

It's a Colour combination using the NEW '2022-2024 In Colors'; choose at least 3 colours, and you can also use 'Basic Black', 'Basic White', 'Crumb Cake', 'Sahara Sand', 'Very Vanilla' and 'Metallics'.

I have used the colours: 'Sweet Sorbet', 'Parakeet Party' & 'Starry Sky'.
The 'Starry Sky' card base is the best part of my creation, and is from the 'Tea Boutique Cards & Envelopes'.

The sentiment is from the 'Good Feelings' stamp set.
Stamped onto 'Basic White' cardstock using 'Starry Sky' ink and die-cut with the 'Stitched Rectangle Dies'.

The flowers & leaves are images from the delightful 'Cup of Tea Bundle'.
The flowers are stamped with 'Sweet Sorbet' ink, the leaves stamped with 'Parakeet Party' ink, and then die-cut using the coordinating 'Teacup Dies'.

'Sending Sunshine and good feelings your way'...
I have added a double strand & bow using 'White Baker's Twine'.

Thankyou for paying me a visit, and I hope to have inspired you with my creation?
See you next time. D x

Inspire.Create.Stamping 'Masculine' Challenge #117

It's a 'Masculine' theme for our 'Inpsire.Create' stamping Challenge.

Our Design Team have some inspiration for you, and what will you create? We hope you will join in with our Challenge, and you can add your project to our gallery here.

I do love the 'Waves of Inspiration Bundle' for Masculine cards, and I have created something that was approved by my almost 14 & 12 year old boys.

So, all approved and ready to share with you...

I die-cut the retired 'Blue Foils Specialty Paper' - I think this would look fabulous using the 'Silver Foil Specialty Pack'.
I added the 'Baker's Twine' knot, adding a nautical element, and I have used a sentiment inside the card.

I stamped the wave image using 'Night of Navy' ink onto 'Vellum' cardstock.
Allow the ink to dry, and die-cut using a 'Stitched Rectangle Die'. Die-cut 'Basic White' cardstock with the same sized 'Stitched Rectangle Die' and adhere to the back of the 'Vellum' cardstock.
Next, adhere the die-cut waves over the stamped wave image.

I do love the Clean & Simple look of this card - sometimes the stamped image, die-cut elements and in this case, the nautical knot, was all that was needed.
How gorgeous is the shine of the foil?

Thankyou for visiting my blog, and I hope you have have been inspired to join in with our 'Masculine' Theme Challenge? See you next time. D x

Just Add Ink - 'CASE Yourself' Challenge #604

| on
00:00

Hello, and welcome to my blog.

The Just Add Ink Challenge this week is 'Just Add a CASE of Yourself'

*CASE = Copy And Selectively Edit

I am CASEing my very first creation for Just Add Ink as a Guest Designer, way back in August 2017 for JAI Challenge #371.

Has one of our projects captured your eye? Who will you CASE from the Design Team?  We can't wait to see what you make, and all you need to do is add your project to our gallery here.

So, here is my creation that I have CASE'd.
I have kept the same layout, and changed up a few of the elements and colour combination for my new look card...

My CASE'd card - as you can see is similar, yet changed up.

The Circle element, ribbon placement, spotty Designer Series Paper and segmented sentiment are the same, however I have die-cut and paper pieced my rainbow element, where my original mermaid was stamped and coloured.

I have changed the circle element by using a 'Pool Party' cardstock circle from the 'Stylish Shapes Dies' and a 'Vellum' circle underneath.

The rainbow & clouds was a fun element to create.

I have used 'Sweet Sorbet', 'Mango Melody', 'Parakeet Party', 'Tahitian Tide' & 'Orchid Oasis' cardstock for the bows. And some lovely puffy clouds too.

I stamped the sentiment and cut the words using my trusty 'Paper Snips'.

That little 'Sweet Sorbet' heart is a little left over, and it comes from the 'Cracker & Treat Box Dies'.

A delightful piece of gold foil spots from the 'Abstract Beauty Designer Series Paper' was my choice for the card front.
I have used the 'Stitched With Whimsy Dies' to replace the machine stitched border of my original creation.

Thankyou for visiting my blog, and I hope you have have been inspired to join in with our JAI 'CASE Yourself Challenge'? See you next time. D x

Before you go, check out the awesome 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue.
And better still...
