We are hopping with the Inspire.Create.Stamping Challenge Design Team, and we have a 'Sketch' Challenge to whet your appetite.

Be prepared for what the Design Team have created, and add your project to our gallery.

A fun 'Sketch' to inspire you, and you can use any colour way, stamp set and embellishments!

My 'Happy Birthday' card using lots of different elements.
My card front is from the 'What a Year Memories & More Card Pack'.

I embossed the 'Bumblebee' cardstock using 'Embossing Paste' and the dots from the 'Basic Pattern Decorative Masks'.
Die cutting the embossed cardstock with the largest circle from the 'Layering Circles Dies', and a backing of a scallop edged circle from 'Basic White' cardstock.
Topping the circle elements with a flower and leaves from the 'Pierced Bloom Dies'.

The Happy Birthday' sentiment is from the 'Art Gallery' stamp set using the coordinating 'Floral Gallery Dies'.
The Gold Bumblebee Trinket is such a cute little finish to my card.

Thankyou for visiting, and I hope to have inspired you to join in with our Challenge?
I'll see you next time. D x

Stamping Sunday Blog Hop - 'Loaded Envelope'

| on
19:00

It's the 4th Sunday in the month, and it's Stamping Sunday Blog Hop Time!

Our theme this month is to create a 'Loaded Envelope'.

Have you ever heard of a 'Loaded Envelope'?
Me either, however Pinterest was a great help, and I will show you what I have made. Then you will know what I'm talking about.

I have used the 'Whimsy & Wonder Suite', and I have loaded the 2 pockets with lots of lovely stuff.

I have used a 12" x 12" piece of 'Whimsy & Wonder Designer Series Paper' for my envelope.
Please visit Sam McGowan from 'The Scottish Crafter' to see how to make your very own Loaded Envelope. I just love her accent!, and her creation.

Packed with goodies to create lots of cards, tags and gift bags for Christmas.

How sweet is this Loaded Envelope?
All ready to be filled up with some bits & pieces.

I wrapped and tied the 'Blushing Bride Frayed Grosgrain Ribbon' around the envelope and added a couple of tags - the only stamped items.

3 x 'Love, Santa Treat Bags'.

Card fronts to make 4 cards - using 6"x 6" of the Designer Series Paper.
I added the 'Stitched With Whimsy Dies' to one of the panels.

Another lot of card fronts using the Christmas Trees Pattern with 'Mint Macaron'.

3 x card fronts.

4 x die cut Christmas trees & decoration; 'Mossy Meadow & Polished Pink' and 'Mint Macaron & Blushing Bride'.

6 x Iridescent Foil 'Wonderful Snowflakes'.

A selection of ribbons, Linen Thread & Twine - some are retired, but coordinate beautifully with the colours of the Suite.

A little bag of die cuts; trees, tags, stars and 'Blushing Bride Metallic Specialty Paper'.

Are you ready for some more gorgeous 'Loaded Envelopes'?

See you next time. D x

Just Add Ink - 'Inspiration' Challenge #577

| on
20:18

Hello, and welcome to my blog.
The Just Add Ink Challenge this week is an 'Inspiration' Challenge from the image below.

This is a great opportunity to add your own spin from the image by using a stamp set, ribbons and embellishments of your choice.
You can add your project to our JAI gallery here.

Kim found this beautiful image for our Challenge, and I have literally taken the colours & foliage for my design, and I have used the *'Baby Wipe Technique' to add the colours to my stamp.

A different kind of Christmas card, yet 'Wishing you a Joyful Christmas' no matter where you are.
A swish of 'Cherry Cobbler & Gold Ribbon' - folded in half and adhered with 'Tear & Tape Adhesive', and my favourite 'Linen Thread' with a bow to compliment the Neutral tones.

A colourful flourish of foliage, adhered to a 'Very Vanilla' element die cut using the sweet 'Stitched With Whimsy Dies'.

Use a 'Silicone Craft Sheet', or aluminium foil to protect your work surface.
Next, lay down 2 folded Baby Wipes.
I have used Reinkers in the following colours; 'Cherry Cobbler', 'Crushed Curry', 'Highland Heather' & 'Shaded Spruce', adding random drops onto the *Baby Wipe acting as the 'ink pad', filling in the white spaces big enough for the image to be stamped.
Pick out your stamp, ink it up, stamp onto 'Sahara Sand' cardstock and die cut with a coordinating die.

*TIP: Use a pattern-free Baby Wipe, as the pattern doesn't allow a clean connection with the ink and stamp.

Thankyou for paying me a visit, and I hope to have inspired you to create your project for our JAI Challenge.
See you next time. D x

It's Colour INKspiration Colour Challenge time, and the CI Crew have some amazing creations to inspire you.

Below is the Challenge image, and we can't wait to see your project in our gallery. You can add your project to our CI gallery here.

Crushed Curry, Pool Party, Cinnamon Cider & Early Espresso.

You can also use Basic Black, Basic White, Crumb Cake, Sahara Sand & Very Vanilla.

I couldn't go past the 'Free as a Bird' stamp set for my creation!
Stamping the image using 'Early Espresso' ink onto 'Very Vanilla' cardstock, and colouring with all the Challenge colours using a 'Blender Pen'.

Next, place the 'Very Vanilla' cardstock into the '3D Embossing Folder' and run it through the 'Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine'. Adhere to a layer of 'Early Espresso' cardstock.
The sentiment is embossed with 'Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder', and a little bit of banner with the 'Gold Metallic Specialty Paper' snipped at the ends with 'Paper Snips'.

I have embossed the front panel of the 'Early Espresso' card base using the 'Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder'.
The 'Gilded Gems' are a perfect finish for my creation, don't you think?

So, let's see what you can add to our gallery with your projects.
We can't wait to see them, and I'll see you next time. D x
