Creation Station Design Team - 2025-2027 In Colours

It's the first Sunday in the month of May, which means it's Creation Station Design Team Blog Hop time!

Thankyou for joining me for our theme this month '2025-2027 In Colours'; our brief was to make a project with at least one of the NEW In Colours.

Get ready for some amazing 2025-2027 In Colours themed projects as you hop with the rest of the talented Design Team at the bottom of my post.

I am still awaiting my order of 2025-2027 In Colour Ink Pads; however, I have made a Mother's Day card using 'Strawberry Slush' cardstock and products from  the 'Floral Impressions Suite':

'Floral Impressions 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper'

'Impressions Abloom Dies'

'Pressed Flowers Embossing Folder'

'Strawberry Slush & Pretty In Pink Gems'

Lots of little bits & pieces die-cut for a pretty floral Mother's Day card.

I embossed the Designer Series Paper card front using the 'Pressed Flowers Embossing Folder' to add texture.

Next was die-cutting a window using the 'Nested Essentials Dies', to elevate the sentiment using 'Stampin Dimensionals'.

A scattering of die-cut 'Strawberry Slush' flowers with 'Darling Duckling centres & 'Garden Green' leaves to adorn the sentiment window.

I added a few 'Strawberry Slush gems' to the card front and painted 'MUM' with 'Wink of Stella Glitter Brush' - unfortunately these lovely features didn't photograph well.

Initially, I made a slim gift box to accommodate chocolates, and I made it first go using 'Moody Mauve' cardstock'. (Pictured behind the card above)

The 'Moody Mauve' & 'Strawberry Slush' colour combo goes well together.

Creation Station Design Team Blog Hop - In Color + Core Colour

It's the first Sunday in the month of June, which means it's Creation Station Design Team Blog Hop time!

Thankyou for joining me. Our theme this month is 'In Color + Core Colour', using 1 New In Color + 1 Core Colour + Basic White/Beige/Grey/Black.

Get ready for some amazing projects as you get hopping with the rest of the talented Design Team at the bottom of my post.

I have chosen 2024-2026 In Color 'Pretty in Pink' + my Core Colour is 'Garden Green'.

Teaming the colours with 'Basic Beige' card base, card front & teapot

'Basic White' for the tab, and 

'Basic Black' for the card layer

I stamped the teapot & floral images using 'Jet Black StazOn ink.

I coloured the bouquet with a 'Blender Pen' using the 'Pretty in Pink' & 'Garden Green' ink pads.

Die cutting the images, and I coloured the surrounds of the teapot & bouquet using a 'Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker'.

Details:

'Basic Beige' card front - embossed with '3D Embossing Folder' crosshatch design

'Basic White' tab - punched using the 'Elegant Edge Tag Topper Punch'

'Sending Love' stamped sentiment

Strips of 'Pretty in Pink' & 'Garden Green' cardstock adhered to the card front

'Linen Thread' & bow to finish my creation

Creation Station Design Team Blog Hop - Up in the Air

 It's the first Sunday in the month of May, which means it's Creation Station Design Team Blog Hop time!

Thankyou for joining me. Our theme this month is 'Up in the Air'... get ready for some amazing projects as you get hopping with the rest of the talented Design Team at the bottom of my post.

My creation comes from a Nursery Rhyme, and is a little bit cute.

 I have used the 'Cutest Cows Bundle', and a I have created a punch art moon!

Can you guess what my 'Up in the Air' creation is?...

'The cow jumped over the moon' from Little Boy Blue!

Some ink blending, a little bit of punch art & fussy cutting was used to create my cute card.

Sentiment: 'Hooray for Surprises' stamp set.

Label: 'Stylish Shapes Dies'.

Flowers: Coloured with 'Stampin' Blends Markers' and fussy cut.

Background: 'Balmy Blue', 'Boho Blue' & 'Misty Moonlight' ink blended with a 'Blending Brush' onto 'Balmy Blue' cardstock.

I splattered the finished background with 'Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush'.

Moon: 2" Circle Punch, then re-punched the circle to make a crescent moon. Embossed with the 'Painted Textures Embossing Folder'.

I had to add the 'Black & Very Vanilla Gingham Ribbon'. It adds a touch of country, and a simply sweet finish to my creation.
