Stamping Sunday Blog Hop - Shimmy & Shake

Welcome to the Stamping Sunday Design Team Blog Hop.

I'm Denita, from Australia - you may be starting with me, or have hopped from Martin in the UK?

It's the 3rd Sunday in the month of September, and our creations follow our theme; 'Shimmy & Shake'. Time to make some shaker cards!

I wanted to create a shaker with the pinata from the 'Taco Fiesta' stamp set.

The confetti comes from the fringe die within the 'Paper Florist Dies' and I used the 'Paper Trimmer' to create mini confetti. (You can also use 'Paper Snips'.)

A fun shaker card Pinata style!
I have coloured the pinata with 'Stampin' Blends Markers' - I chose colours from the Brights Collection.

I added some colourful stamped images to the background; 'Baby Wipe Technique' for the win adding some fun colours with the lollies/candy stamp.

A banner needed to be added with a little embossing and die cut with the label die from the 'Stylish Shapes Dies'.
And a simple 'Happy Birthday' sentiment to complete my fun and festive shaker card.

Below is the list of our fabulous Design Team, and you can click on the NEXT BLOG to visit Sharni - my lovely friend from South Australia. You are going to love Sharni's creation, and the rest of what the Design Teams creations too.

See you next month. D x

Colour INKspiration Colour Challenge #150

Hi there, and welcome to my blog.

I just love the Colour INKspiration Colour Challenges, and I had to play along with their 150th Challenge!

Congratulations CI Crew on your #150, and for always inspiring with your beautiful creations.

As you can see the colours are divine, and I have made a last minute creation to share for this auspicious occasion.

I have used all 5 colours creating a treat box, from the NEW 'Nested Treat Boxes' found in the Mini Catalogue.

The 'Nested Treat Boxes' were assembled.
I adhered 6cm x 6cm panels of 'Garden Walk Designer Series Paper' to the top and front drawer, and the sides are 6cm x 6cm 'Calypso Coral' cardstock embossed with the 'Countryside Blossoms Embossing Folder'.
Decorating with die cut flowers from the 'Paper Florist Dies'.

'For You'
The adorable sentiment is from the 'Just My Type' stamp set; heat embossed with 'White Embossing Powder' onto 'Pretty Peacock' cardstock.

Thankyou for visiting my blog and I hope you enjoyed my take on the delicious colours for the Colour INKspiration Colour Challenge #150?

It's the first Sunday in the month of September, which means it's Creation Station Design Team Blog Hop time!

Thankyou for joining me, and you may be here after visiting Yvonne in The Netherlands?, or you have started with me in Australia.

Our theme this month is 'Monochromatic'... get ready for some beautiful monochrome creations, and get hopping with the rest of the amazing Design Team at the bottom of my post.

My project is a little bit of a cheats kinda monochrome card, with a touch of gold.

I have used a card base from the 'A Million Thanks Kit' and have added a Christmas theme using NEW product *'Joy of Noel Bundle' from the about to be revealed Mini Catalogue available 6th September, 2023.

I started out with the 'Mossy Meadow' embossed card base, and added the gold embossed 'Making spirits bright' sentiment.
The 'NOEL' sentiment and holly leaves were stamped with 'Mossy Meadow' ink onto 'Old Olive' cardstock, die cut with coordinating dies. and adhered directly to the card front.

The gold bow made from the 'Simply Elegant Trim' was a lovely finish to the greens used for my clean and simple Christmas card.

Next up is Martin from the UK - get ready for some exceptional & amazing creativity!

Thankyou for visiting, and I hope you enjoyed my creation?
Looking forward to seeing you next month for our October hop. D x

*'Joy of Noel Bundle' is available 6th September, 2023!
That's only 3 more sleeps, peeps!
