Just Add Ink - 'Sketch' Challenge #616

 It's another Just Add Ink Challenge, and this week it's a 'Sketch'.

I had a vision of the Ladybug from the 'Ladybug Builder Punh' & 'Hello Ladybug' stamp set for the circle element...

And here is my Ladybug sitting on a 'Granny Apple Green' leaf.

The card front with the adorable multi coloured dots is from the *Host 'Celebrate Everything Designer Series Paper'.

How about the simple and lovely 'Happy Birthday' greeting die cut with the banner from the  'Stylish Shapes Dies'?

Just Add Ink - 'Just Choose Two' Challenge #612

It's a Just Add Ink Challenge and this week we have a 'Just Choose Two'; 'Fur - Clouds - Stitching'.

Clouds: 'Wave Dies'

Stitching: 'Stitched Rectangle Dies' & 'Stylish Shapes Dies'

I am loving the 'Penguin Place' stamp set teamed with the Sale-A-Bration 'Hippo Dies'.

This time the little fisher Penguin is decked out with the sunglasses from the 'Hippo Dies'.

Details...

The fishing rod is the balloon string from the 'Penguin Place' stamp set. (I tried to draw a fishing hook.)

And the propeller on the boat! Too cute.

I blended 'Balmy Blue', 'Pool Party' and 'Daffodil Delight' ink onto the square element die cut using the 'Stylish Shapes Dies'.

The water is stamped with the wave stamp onto the 'Balmy Blue' layer.

Hello, and welcome to my blog.

The Just Add Ink Design Team have a 'Sketch' Challenge, and it's a fun one!

Be inspired by the Design Team and create a fun project to add to our gallery. Add your project here.

Use whatever stamp set, Designer Series Paper, embellishments and colours you desire. That's the fun of a 'Sketch' Challenge!

My go to was the 'Happier Than You' stamp set and coordinating 'Happy Forest Friends Designer Series Paper'.

Also, a little bit of 'Old Olive Twill Ribbon' and 'Linen Thread'.

'Happier than happy for you'

I stamped the sentiment using 'Soft Suede' ink onto 'Basic White' cardstock, and die-cut with a 'Stitched Rectangle Die'.

I love the 'Happy Forest Friends Designer Series Paper'!

The colours, the patterns and the lovely simplicity of nature inspired designs to make a card for any occasion.

Just Add Ink - 'CASE Yourself' Challenge #604

 

Hello, and welcome to my blog. 

The Just Add Ink Challenge this week is 'Just Add a CASE of Yourself'

*CASE = Copy And Selectively Edit 

I am CASEing my very first creation for Just Add Ink as a Guest Designer, way back in August 2017 for JAI Challenge #371.

So, here is my creation that I have CASE'd.

I have kept the same layout, and changed up a few of the elements and colour combination for my new look card...

My CASE'd card - as you can see is similar, yet changed up.

The Circle element, ribbon placement, spotty Designer Series Paper and segmented sentiment are the same, however I have die-cut and paper pieced my rainbow element, where my original mermaid was stamped and coloured.

I have changed the circle element by using a 'Pool Party' cardstock circle from the 'Stylish Shapes Dies' and a 'Vellum' circle underneath.

The rainbow & clouds was a fun element to create. 

I have used 'Sweet Sorbet', 'Mango Melody', 'Parakeet Party', 'Tahitian Tide' & 'Orchid Oasis' cardstock for the bows. And some lovely puffy clouds too.

I stamped the sentiment and cut the words using my trusty 'Paper Snips'.

That little 'Sweet Sorbet' heart is a little left over, and it comes from the 'Cracker & Treat Box Dies'.

A delightful piece of gold foil spots from the 'Abstract Beauty Designer Series Paper' was my choice for the card front.

I have used the 'Stitched With Whimsy Dies' to replace the machine stitched border of my original creation.
