I have created a 'Tropical Oasis' Shirt (not my design and how to make details below),
and a card; remeniscent of a vintage style post card.
I stamped the Palm trees using 'Soft Suede' ink onto 'Very Vanilla' cardstock. Colouring the trees with 'Watercolor Pencils' and a 'Blender Pen'.
I daubed the edges of the die cut using a 'Sponge Dauber' and 'Crumb Cake' ink.
The oval element has been embossed with the NEW 'Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder'.
I then used the largest oval from the 'Stitched Shapes Dies'.
The Palm Trees background from the divine 'Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper'.
The 'Hello' sentiment stamped with 'Early Espresso' ink.
'Tropical Oasis DSP' shirt.
You can make 2 shirts from 1 piece of DSP,
and the tutorial to make your very own 'Tropical Oasis' shirt is here.
Thanks to Carolyn Bennie for her Tropical shirt photographic tutorial - the best tutorial I have found!
'Rest & Relax. You deserve it'
Card insert: 7.5cm x 10 cm or 3" x 4" (trim if required)
Details...
Buttons: I created Coconut buttons by stamping the 'Birch Background' stamp using 'Soft Suede' ink onto 'Soft Suede' cardstock.
Punching with a very small circle punch (from the 'Itty Bitty Bit Punch Set'), and making the dots with an 'Early Espresso' Stampin' Write Marker.
Pocket: Using the smallest die from the 'Stitched Nested Labels, die cut the DSP matching the shirt.
Trim approximatley 8mm or 3/4" from 1 end.
Fold over 3mm or 2/8", showing the back of the DSP.
Adhere the pocket flap, and adhere the pocket to the shirt.
Thankyou so much for being here, and I hope you have enjoyed my creations?
Below is the list of the fabulous Stamping Sunday Design Team, and you won't be disappointed with what everyone has to share.
Wishing you a wonderful end to 2019, and looking forward to seeing you in 2020 - with the NEW Mini Catalogue!

ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this fun design and thank you for listing some of the measurements in imperial. Can you please post the finished size of this card in imperial? I'm thinking the DSP cut needs to be modified to fit a standard US envelope and want to work out the measurements. Have a great day down under! :)
