MonuMENtal - Creation Station Design Team Blog Hop

Hello, and welcome to my blog.
The Creation Station Design Team Blog Hop is featuring creations
for our Men folk; large & small.
Thankyou for joining me from Sara's blog. The Blog Hop is full of wonderful creations to inspire you, as masculine cards are difficult for some.

I have taken the 'Happiness Blooms Memories & More Card Pack' + 'Happiness Blooms Memories & More Cards & Envelopes', and have made some stuff for the guys...
and there is not a bloom in sight.

4 cards and different levels of creating.

Perfect for the Beginner Crafter.
I have adhered the 'Happy Birthday' M&M card from the pack, directly to the
Large Night of Navy M&M card base.
How quick and easy?

 For the Casual Crafter.
1. Find the 'Call Me Clover' & 'Whisper White' striped M&M card.
(I outlined the card using a 'Night of Navy Stampin' Write Marker' and a ruler - this is an optional element.)
2. Adhere the M&M card to the M&M Large card base.
3. Die cut the 'Happy Birthday Thilints Die' + 'Wood Textures DSP'. Adhere to card front.
4. Stamp the 'TO YOU!' using 'Soft Suede' ink onto 'Whisper White' cardstock.
5. Snip the individual letters.
6. Add a 'Stampin' Dimensional' to the back of each letter, and adhere to the card front.

Avid Crafter card #1
The octopus is stamped in 'Crumb Cake' ink.
Grab a 'Sponge Dauber' and add 'Soft Suede' ink & 'Early Espresso' ink to the his legs.
Stamp onto 'Crumb Cake' cardstock, and die cut with the coordinating die. Add some 'Crumb Cake' or 'Soft Suede' ink using a 'Sponge Dauber if more colour is required.
Stamp the sentiment using 'Soft Suede' ink, and die cut.
I have used the NEW 'Stitched Nested Labels Dies' - available June 4th, 2019.
TIP: I snipped between the legs of my octopus, for him to hold the sentiment.

Avid Crafter card #2
Lots of different elements to create the Under the Sea flourish behind the sentiment.
1. Stamp the seaweed in 'Call Me Clover' directly to the card front.
2. Die cut the seaweed elements x 3, using 'Call Me Clover' cardstock (I trimmed 1 and added a couple of the strips to fill in). Adhere on top of the stamped seaweed.
3. Coral: Daub 'Night of Navy' ink + 'Balmy Blue' ink onto 'Whisper White' cardstock using a 'Sponge Dauber'. Die cut 2 pieces of coral, and adhere either side of the seaweed.
4. Stamp the large coral stamp onto the 'Balmy Blue' inkpad. Daub the bottom of the stamp with 'Night of Navy' ink and stamp onto 'Whisper White' cardstock. Die cut with coordinating die. Adhere to the card front.
5. Stamp the sentiment using 'Soft Suede' ink, and die cut with the 'Stitched Nested Labels Dies'. Adhere onto a strip of 'Wood Textures DSP'.
6. Loop some 'Linen Thread' behind the sentiment, and adhere to the card front using 'Stampin' Dimensionals'.
7. Adhere the 'Crumb Cake' starfish onto the sentiment. I gently daubed around the edges with 'Crumb Cake' ink.
8. Add 3 'Call Me Clover Enamel Dots' to the card front.

Next up is the lovely Sara, with her MonuMENtal creations. They will be epic!

Inspire.Create.Stamping Challenges - 'Theme' Challenge #033

| on

Welcome to my blog, and to the Inspire.Create.Stamping Challenges
'Theme' Challenge #033.
Our theme is 'Party', and we would love for you to join in the fun
You can add your creations to our gallery here.
*This challenge runs for 4 weeks, ending in the New Year - 9th January, 2019.

I have created a Birthday card, and my my big boy wanted his mate to have an NRL 'Cowboys' coloured for his card.
My colour combination is 'Mango Melody', 'Night of Navy' & 'Basic Gray'.

I have created a pocket card for a 10 year old boy.
A different way to dress up a card, and a fun creation for invitations.
I added 10 candles to the belly band from the 'Birthday Backgrounds' stamp set.

The tab pulls the card from the envelope, and we attached money to the back. There's plenty of room to add a Gift Card too.

I found the 'party' stamp from the 'Tabs for Everything' stamp set, and I went to work using the 'Stamparatus' for the repeat stamping.
I personalised the greeting, and the 'Happy Birthday' sentiment is a sneak peek from a NEW stamp set 'Itty Bitty Birthdays' found in the Occasions Catalogue available 3rd January, 2018.

The pocket is created using the 'Envelope Punch Board'.
Measure your card, and create an envelope that houses the card you have created.
I literally snipped away one of the sides to create the opening at the top, and wrapped a belly band around the pocket to hide the joins of the envelope.

Thankyou for paying me a visit, and don't forget to get creating and make your 'Party' themed project and join in our fun challenge.
Merry Christmas to you and yours, and see you in the New Year!

Global Design Project - Colour Challenge #gdp125

It's a Bright Colour Challenge for this weeks Global Design Project #gdp125, and I think I have made it in by the skin of my teeth!
http://www.global-design-project.com/2018/02/global-design-project-colour-challenge.html

Seeing as it's Chinese New Year and celebrations are happening around the world, I decided to create something using the 'Color Me Happy' stamp set.

Holly Stene inspired me greatly for this creation. Ever since Holly created her lantern themed cards, I have wanted to create something similar.
For this Challenge I have used the 'Color Me Happy' stamp set + 'Aqua Painters'.
Holly used the 'Color Me Happy' stampset + 'Stampin' Blends'.
(You can see Holly's creations here)

Stamping onto 'Shimmery White' cardstock, I coloured my lanterns using an 'Aqua Painter' and the 3 Challenge colours.
Starting with the 'Daffodil Delight' in the middle, then adding the 'Dapper Denim' & 'Melon Mambo' from light to dark.
I stamped onto 'Whisper White' cardstock for the string and the 3 lanterns. Each coloured lantern was fussy-cut and a 'Stampin' Dimensional' added to the back, then adhered to the card.
I added the sentiment using 'Labeler Alphabet' stamp set.
Thankyou for visiting. I'll see you next time. D x
