Welcome to my blog, and to the Inspire.Create.Stamping Challenges 
'Theme' Challenge #033.
Our theme is 'Party', and we would love for you to join in the fun

*This challenge runs for 4 weeks, ending in the New Year - 9th January, 2019.

I have created a Birthday card, and my my big boy wanted his mate to have an NRL 'Cowboys' coloured for his card.
My colour combination is 'Mango Melody', 'Night of Navy' & 'Basic Gray'.

I have created a pocket card for a 10 year old boy. 

A different way to dress up a card, and a fun creation for invitations.

I added 10 candles to the belly band from the 'Birthday Backgrounds' stamp set.

The tab pulls the card from the envelope, and we attached money to the back. There's plenty of room to add a Gift Card too.

I found the 'party' stamp from the 'Tabs for Everything' stamp set, and I went to work using the 'Stamparatus' for the repeat stamping.
I personalised the greeting, and the 'Happy Birthday' sentiment is a sneak peek from a NEW stamp set 'Itty Bitty Birthdays' found in the Occasions Catalogue available 3rd January, 2018.

The pocket is created using the 'Envelope Punch Board'.

Measure your card, and create an envelope that houses the card you have created.

I literally snipped away one of the sides to create the opening at the top, and wrapped a belly band around the pocket to hide the joins of the envelope.

As we are in the throes of the first taste of Autumn/Winter Down Under, our Northern Hemisphere friends are having their long awaited Spring and sunshiney weather.

My take on our theme, is using the 'Sunshine Wishes Thinlits Dies', 

and the 'Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper'.

 I adore the 'Delightful Daisy DSP' - it will be retiring at the end of the month, so if you love it too, now is a good time to stock up.

I topped the DSP with some 'Vellum' cardstock for an even softer look, and sewed with my trusty sewing machine around the edges for some sweet detail.

'Happy Birthday Sunshine'

'Sunshine' = a term of endearment for a special person in your life.

ABC's - Creation Station Design Team Blog Hop

Hello, and welcome to my blog. 
You are visiting Denita, from Australia, and I am so happy you are here.
This month the theme for the Creation Station Design Team Blog Hop is the 'ABC's of Stampin'. You may have joined me from Jennifer's page. 'Hi!'

The 'ABC' theme made me think of School Teachers; my 2 boys have the most lovely Teachers, and I am creating for them.
Seeing as we live in Australia and our school year is more than halfway through Term 3, I have decided to create 'Thankyou's' for my boys Teachers for the end of the year - in December. You can never be too organised!

I have used the 'Pieces & Patterns' stamp set and coordinationg 'Pick a Pattern' Designer Series Paper - perfect for Teachers don't you think?

Yes, those pencils making the frame have been fussy-cut. 
I coloured them with Stampin' Write Markers; Crushed Curry, Emerald Envy, Flirty Flamingo & Sahara Sand.

Along with the 'Thank You' cards, are these little gift card holders. Inside will be Gift cards, so the Teachers can go and spoil themselves. 
Any Teacher I know have enough mugs/tea cups, chocolates & candles as gifts. 
(My husband is first hand evidence to these gifts 😉)

How to make this cute little envelope for a 3" x 4" (7.6cm x 10cm) card:
Envelope Punch Board; score line 2 5/8"
6" x 6" (15.25cm x 15.25cm) piece of DSP (you get 4 envelopes from 1 piece of 12" x 12" (30.5cm x 30.5cm) DSP!)
1" x 8" (2.5cm x 20cm) strip of Emerald Envy cardstock - for the belly band
Bow Builder Punch for the Emerald Envy bow
Cardstock for the card - in this case the Gift card is attached and I have added some Whisper White on the back for writing.The tab was made using the 'Tabs for Everthing' Bundle.
