Calypso Coral, Pool Party, Daffodil Delight & Basic Gray

How adorable is the Kangaroo from the 'Animal Outing' stamp set? This will be available 1st June, 2018 - not long to wait now!

She is an Eastern Grey Kangaroo, and I have coloured her with 'Watercolor Pencils'.

I popped some flowers in her pouch. The flowers are from the about to retire

'Tree Builder Punch'.

I love the background panel of 'Calypso Coral DSP' which comes from the 

'Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper'.

'Thankyou Big Time' - such a sweet sentiment and that font!

As we are in the throes of the first taste of Autumn/Winter Down Under, our Northern Hemisphere friends are having their long awaited Spring and sunshiney weather.

My take on our theme, is using the 'Sunshine Wishes Thinlits Dies', 

and the 'Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper'.

 I adore the 'Delightful Daisy DSP' - it will be retiring at the end of the month, so if you love it too, now is a good time to stock up.

I topped the DSP with some 'Vellum' cardstock for an even softer look, and sewed with my trusty sewing machine around the edges for some sweet detail.

'Happy Birthday Sunshine'

'Sunshine' = a term of endearment for a special person in your life.

Just Add Ink - Sketch Challenge #406

Hello, and welcome to my blog. 
This week is a Sketch Challenge for Just Add Ink - 'Just Add a Sketch' Challenge #406
Join in the fun and add your project to our gallery here.

My 2 boys love anything about Nature, and they were watching a documentary on the Endangered Orange-Bellied Parrot. My inspiration came from my boys, and the retiring 'Bird Banter' stamp set.

My Orange-Bellied Parrots, watercoloured with 'Water Color Pencils' and a 'Blender Pen'. 

I have used 'Basic Gray', 'Bermuda Bay', 'Daffodil Delight', 'Old Olive' & 'Pumpkin Pie'. 

(I have also used the 'Lemon Lime Twist' Watercolor Pencil from the 'Lots of Happy Card Kit'.)

A close up of these sweet parrots, sitting on a branch - die cut from the 'Seasonal Layers Thinlits Dies'.

A perfectly fitting sentiment for the inside of my card. 

And a little bit of flower detail.

Here, you can see the 'Woodland TIEF'.

I have applied it to the card base on the debossed side.
