Hello, and welcome to my blog!
This week is an Animals/Pets 'Theme' Challenge for the Global Design Project #gdp059.
There are quite a few Stampin' Up! stamp sets that have animals, and the 'Foxy Friends' is my favourite of all, but I haven't used the  cute 'Barnyard Babies' stamp set for a while.

And this is my Animals/Pets creation...

A content little horse in his paddock.

I just love this horse! And he looks so happy in his surrounds. The sun is shining, and there is plenty of green grass for him to eat. What more could a horse ask for?

Global Design Project Winners #gdp007

Another Global Design Project week over and I was one of three winners for the #gdp007 Theme Challenge: Farm! You can see all three winners here.

I couldn't believe my eyes when the winners were announced; not only for myself, but my beautiful friend Karen was also a winner! And this is heramazing creation
Yes, Karen has knitted Baker's Twine with toothpicks.
Un-bel-iev-able!!! You can see Karen's entry here on Instagram @redinkcreativecardmaking

So, I made Karen a little 'Congrats' tag complimenting the Farm Theme and I bought some beautiful red gerberas. I recycled a bottle of wine for a vase, but the label had caught my eye. Look at the sheep! Perfection.

There is another Global Design Project Challenge this week and it's CASE the Designer. Click here for all the details, and I hope you get the chance to play along.
Thankyou for stopping by. D x

Barnyard Babies - Global Design Project #GDP007

Hello, and welcome to my latest blog post.
I have been creating a project for the latest Challenge over at
the Global Design Project. It's Week 7 and a 'Farm' theme:
The 'Barnyard Babies' stampset was the perfect choice for this Challenge, and this is my creation:

I have had the 'Old MacDonald' idea for a while and along comes the perfect opportunity to get my thoughts onto cardstock. And into a frame. I really love the Alphabet Rotary Stamp for moments like these.
The Sleigh Ride Edgelit Dies made the 'Cucumber Crush' rolling green hills, beneath a 'Soft Sky' sky. We live in a seaside town surrounded by beautiful green hills and farms, and I am sure Old MacDonald's farm is as beautiful.

I made a windmill; an iconic Australian farm fixture - and did you notice the windmill on the Theme banner? You can also see the Farmhouse surrounded by trees in the background perched above the farm. Another cute addition by using the Sleigh Ride Edgelit Dies.

This little strip of Barnyard Babies were coloured in by my 5 year old. So whilst I was creating my project, I had a little man on his table colouring-in to his hearts content!

You still have time to play along; the Challenge ends at 6pm AEST Saturday 24th October. See the Schedule here.

Thankyou so much for stopping by, and you are more than welcome to leave a comment. If you are after any of the products I have used for my project, see below and click on an image to order online. D x
