Global Design Project - CASE the Designer Challenge #gdp116

I have submitted some creations for this weeks Global Design Project 'CASE the Designer' Challenge #gdp116. 

Janneke De Jong is the Designer to CASE this week, and I love her Clean and Simple design.

I made 'Congratulations' cards using the Sale-a-Bration *'Party Pandas' stamp set, and the sentiment is from 'Fabulous Flamingo' stamp set.

*Party Pandas are a FREE item during Sale-a-Bration available 3rd January, 2018.

 

My husband and I are Instructors for Taekidokai (Mixed Martial Arts), and we had Junior and Senior Grading on the weekend.

We are very proud of our members, and I made 15 cards for our Juniors.

 

The cards are using the colours of the Junior tips and belts they achieved in the Grading test. They are all so dedicated, train hard and have fun every week, and this was my little bit of something personal for all their hard work.

It's the Global Design Project CASE the Designer #gdp104
I love *CASEing the Global Design Team's creations. This time around is the extremely talented Allison Okamitsu.

My creation has a similar layout to Allison's, however I have used a different stampset, colours & embellishments.

 

In fact, I have not only CASEd Allison's creation, but my creation is CASEd from the front of the Holiday Catalogue! Have you seen it? I have added my own twist and love how it has turned out.

I have used the gorgeous 'Hearts Come Home' Bundle. One of my favourites!

 

 'Enjoy the Warmth of the Season' - such a beautiful sentiment. I added the 'Silver Glimmer' stars, and the 'Silver Ribbon' for a little bit of bling.

I also love how the 'Real Red', 'Emerald Envy' & 'Lemon Lime Twist' coordinate together. Beautiful Christmas colours and a touch of 'Pool Party' for the sky. This is definitely a Christmas is Australia kind of card.

Global Design Project - 'CASE the Designer' #gdp096

It's CASE the Designer time for the Global Design Project #gdp096, and we are CASEing the lovely Tanja Kolar from Germany.

CASE = Copy And Selectively Edit

I have similar elements to Tanja's creation, however, there are differences too. Let's see what I have created based on Tanja's beautiful Dragonfly card.

I swapped Tanja's Dragonfly for a 'Soft Sky' die-cut Butterfly. 

I have also used the 'Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies' as the frame and placed the 'Delightful Daisy DSP' underneath the Vellum.

I painted 'Clear Wink of Stella' onto the die-cut Butterfly and it leaves a lovely glimmery effect. And a touch of 'Silver Metallic Thread' behind the Butterfly for some pretty.

The 'Thanks' sentiment is from the 'Weather Together' stampset, with such a gorgeous font. 

These are all of the products I used for my Butterfly creation.

 'Whisper White Notecards & Envelopes' - why make 1 card, when you can make up to 20! You can change up the sentiment, DSP, Cardstock colour or keep them all the same. Such a great way to get a whole stack of cards done at once.

Global Design Project - 'CASE the Designer' #gdp092

I love it when the Global Design Project has a 'CASE the Designer' Challenge #gdp092. 
This week we are CASEing the amazing Steffi Helmschrott, from Germany. 

Steffi's creations are absolutley divine, and I love her colouring.

I could not wait to use my 'Message in a Bottle' stamp set. As soon as I saw the Challenge project, my creative went into overdrive and this is what I came up with!

 

'You Float my Boat'! Yes, you do. 

Can you see the divine 'Dapper Denim' ombre 'Color Theory DSP Stack' sandwiched between the cardstock? It's divine!

 

I used 'Stampin' Write Markers' to colour my stamps. With such intricate detail of the masts, sails & flags of the mini ship, using a Marker makes life easy when colouring stamps because they have 2 ends; a brush tip and a fine tip.

 

The 'Stampin' Write Markers' I have used for my creation: 

Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Smoky Slate, Marina Mist & Real Red.

 

How cute is this stamp set? I must say 'Stampin' Up! have excelled themselves with this set, and coordinating well with my Blog design don't you think?
