Inspire.Create.Stamping Challenge - Sketch Challenge #008

| on
21:00
Hello, and welcome to the Inspire.Create.Stamping Challenges Blog Hop. We have a 'Sketch' Challenge #008 for you this round, and we would love for you to participate with us. Get your craft on, and add your creation to our gallery here.
How lovely is this Sketch?
You can make of it whatever you desire, and for any Occasion.

'Happy New Year'.
One last creation using the gorgeous Occasions Catalogue Host stamp set 'Seasons of Whimsy'.
And the divine 'Year of Cheer DSP' & 'Champagne Foil Sheets' make a lovely accompaniment.

I have added a 'Copper' embossed sparkler, and the coordinating sentiment onto the banner element.

Lots of sparkle and bling to bring in the New Year.

And don't forget to decorate the inside of your cards. A few Copper embossed sparkly things make for a lovely surprise when your recipient opens their card.

So, this is what happens when you try to be organised for a Challenge and you add your creation, only realising once it goes live that you have created for the wrong Challenge!
I made these 'Foxy Friends' Christmas cards for the last challenge. Oops-a-daisy!
I have missed my 'Foxy Friends' stamp set, and here he is front and centre on the banner element with his little reindeer antlers. Too cute!
'Quilted Christmas DSP' for the top, some fussy cut holly and berries stamped from the 'Merry Little Labels', and a swish of 'Linen Thread' and a bow to finish this sweet Christmas card.

Thankyou for visiting, and make sure you check out what the Inpsire.Create.Stamping Challenge Design Team have created.

Just Add Ink #375 - 'Just Add a Sketch'

| on
00:00
This week the Just Add Ink Challenge #375 is 'Just Add a Sketch'.
There are some absolutely beautiful creations from the JAI Design Team, and wonderful inspiration for you.
Be sure to join in and add your creation here - we would love to see what you come up with.

This is my interpretation of this weeks Sketch Challenge...

I have used the lovely 'Always & Forever' stamp set.
A wedding card with Copper and Wood grain accents - both being very popular  design & décor items for Weddings & Engagements, not to mention Anniversaries.

I have embossed the 'Mr. & Mrs.' with the divine 'Copper Stampin' Emboss Powder'.
I have built my card using the following:
Card base - 'Soft Suede' cardstock, 1st mat - 'Copper Foil Sheet', 2nd mat - 'Whipser White' cardstock and topped with 'Pinewood Planks Dynamic TIEF using 'Crumb Cake' cardstock daubed with 'Crumb Cake' ink.

The heart has been embossed with the Copper Embossing Powder and fussy cut; I have added a 'Stampin' Dimensional' underneath the heart to lift it from the woodgrain. I had to finish with a 'Linen Thread' bow.

Thankyou for taking the time to visit. Happy first day of Spring!

I am loving the Copper elements at the moment; Copper is such a beautiful and warm complement - especially with cards and anything papercraft.

The lovely 'Birthday Blooms' stampset  & 'Cottage Garden' stampset. They coordinate beautifully and I love the simplicity of this card.

Global Design Project - Theme Challenge #gdp055

The Global Design Project has a RAK Theme for this weeks Challenge #gdp055
RAK: 'Random Acts of Kindness' - even just reading that brings a smile to your face. How wonderful is it to receive an out of the blue 'Just for You', or a 'Thankyou' from someone?

My creation is for a beautiful and dear friend of mine going through a tough time at the moment.

'Friend'. A beautiful barrow full of flowers can lift someones spirits and hopefully some words of love within my card can bring a smile.

I am going away for a holiday with my family this weekend, and I wanted my friend to know that I am thinking of her and her family while I will be away.

And some matchy-matchy tealights, wrapped with 'Affectionately Yours' Designer Washi Tape.

Oh, that Copper Embossing! Love it!

Thankyou so much for visiting my blog. I hope you were inspired by my RAK card, and that you can join in with this weeks Challenge?

'Timeless Textures' - CASE the Designer Global Design Project #gdp044

| on
12:51
Hello! I have a creation I designed for this weeks 'CASE the Designer' Challenge for the Global Design Project #gdp044.
This week we are CASEing Artisan Design Team & Global Design Team Member, Steffi Helmschrott. I just love Steffi's style!

CASE: Copy And Share Everything.
Remember with the Case the Designer Challenge you can choose to take whatever you like from the card that inspires you. It can be the stamp set, the colours, the layout, whatever you like!
Here is my CASE of Steffi's card:

I was inspired by the gorgeous gold butterfly on Steffi's card, however I have used Copper accents. The copper inlaid paper from the 'Affectionately Yours Designer Series Paper' makes a beautiful butterfly. The sentiment heat embossed using the divine 'Copper Stampin' Emboss Powder' and a smidge of 'Copper Metallic Thread' underneath the 'Vellum' circle.

Cards on the production line ready to be made up, and looking so pretty with all that Copper! I have made a handful of these notecards to give to some of my gorgeous Stampin' Up! friends - I hope they like them?
And the dimensions for you:
Crumb Cake card base 19cm x 7cm (scored at 9.5cm)
Shimmery White mat 9cm x 6cm

Thankyou for visiting and have a fantastic weekend. D x

Affectionately Yours - Case the Designer Challenge #gdp036

| on
21:29
Today we are CASEing the lovely Paula Dobson, a Design Team Member from the Global Design Project #gdp036.
And here is Paula's divine creation we are to CASE!...
(CASE = Copy And Selectively Edit)
My CASE of Paula's card using sneak peek products...

My card is portrait style, and I have made my first inlaid die cut using the 'Thanks' sentiment from the 'Greetings Thinlits Dies'.
Instead of stamping the floral background, I have used Designer Series Paper - and it's the NEW 'Affectionately Yours DSP' available in the NEW Annual Catalogue 1st June, 2016.
It's divine!

And a close up of the Copper embossed 'Thanks' sentiment and banner using the 'Cottage Greetings' stampset.
Wow!, that Copper Embossing Powder.
Again. Divine!

Landscape style using the 'Affectionately Yours DSP' and a different colour way; Crumb Cake & Daffodil Delight.

A teeny banner and the sentiment is from the 'Endless Thanks' stampset - embossed in no other than, Copper Embossing Powder.

And another colour way; Crumb Cake & Watermelon Wonder.

Thankyou for visiting and taking the time to get this far. Don't forget you can order the 'Affectionately Yours DSP' and 'Copper Embossing Powder' 1st June, 2016 when the NEW Annual Catalogue is available. And I hope you enjoyed my creations?
