Stamping Sunday Blog Hop 'Beyond Basic'

It's the 4th Sunday in the month of July, and the 'Stamping Sunday Design Team Blog Hop' is showcasing the Specialty Papers on Page 139 of the Annual Catalogue. 

 

I have chosen the 'Rose Gold 12" x 12" Specialty Paper' using the matte piece with 'Basic Black' cardstock my creations.

Rose Gold & Black.

I have embossed the Matte finish 'Rose Gold' layer using the 'Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder'.

Adding a frame made using the square 'Stylish Shapes Dies' and the floral die from 'Penned Flowers Dies'.

Sentiment: embossed using 'White Stampin' Emboss Powder' and die cut with a banner from the 'Stylish Shapes Dies'.

A perfect match with embossed matte 'Rose Gold Specialty Paper' & 'Basic Black' cardstock. 

And a cute little 'Mini Curvy Keepsakes Box' adorned with a floral die cut from the 'Penned Flowers Dies'.

A luxe tag - mixing the 'Mini Curvy Keepsakes Box Dies' & Sale-A-Bration 'Hippo Dies' flowers.

A beautiful duo for any occasion.

Inspire.Create.Stamping Challenges Blog Hop - 'CASE the Designer' Challenge #088

Hello, and welcome to my blog.

The inspire.create.stamping Challenges Design Team have a 'CASE the Designer' Challenge. CASE = Copy And Share Everything!, and we have been inspired by one our NEW Design Team Members, Jo Blackman, and her amazing project.

We would love for you to be inspired by Jo's card, and add your project to our gallery here.

I love the patchwork look of the Herringbone pattern from Jo's card, and it did take me some time to arrange my pieces of Designer Series Paper.

My pieces of the retiring 'Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Paper' measure 1cm x 3cm, and once I found my groove, I added the pieces to 'Crumb Cake' cardstock.

'My friend' - sentiment from the 'Ornate Thanks' stamp set.

I stamped the sentiment onto 'Crumb Cake' cardstock, and die cut using a circle from the retiring 'Stitched Shapes Dies'.

I embellished the sentiment with the stitched heart from the retiring 'Mini Curvy Keepsakes Box Dies', and the flowers & leaves from the 'In The Tropics Dies'.

And if you know me, a 'Linen Thread' bow is the finishing touch of detail to my 'Bumblebee' stitched heart.

I embossed the retiring 'Terracotta Tile' cardstock card front using the retiring 'Subtle 3D Embossing Folder', to add some fabric like texture.

The retiring 'Braided Linen Trim' is a lovely element to finish my creation.

I have made 'Early Espresso Easter Treats' with 'Everlasting Daisies'.

How to make an 'Everlasting Daisy'

* Medium Daisy Punch + Paper Snips

*Melon Mambo cardstock x 4

* Flirty Flamingo cardstock x 2

* Petal Pink cardstock x 1

* Perrenial Essence Floral Centre x 1

* Snip tips of petals to create spiky petals.

  

Popping Candy mini Easter eggs!

Caramel mini Easter eggs!

Cover the wording of the sentiment with Washi Tape, leaving the 'Happy Easter' part of the sentiment. Stamp onto the ink pad, then remove the Washi Tape before stamping onto 'Whisper White' cardstock.

Adhere inside the treat box to reveal when opened!

My boys wanted a bit of the action, and are happy to model these darling little Easter treats.
