'Specialty Paper' - Creation Station Design Team Blog Hop

It's the first Sunday in the month, and it's Blog Hop time with the Creation Station Design Team.

This month our brief is 'Specialty Paper', and we all know and love the Design Series Papers within our Catalogues. However, it's hard to cut into our gorgeous double sided patterned papers, but we always buy more! Am I right?

For my creations, I have chosen the gorgeous 'Harvest Meadow Designer Series Paper' and 'Cork Speciality Paper' - both found in the 'Harvest Meadow Suite' in the Mini Catalogue.

First up, lidded boxes.
Now, you may have seen these already?, and all I have done is add a tag & ribbon.
From 1 sheet of 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper, you can make 4 lids.
Click here to make your own lidded box.

With a base made from 'Crumb Cake' cardstock, I wrapped some 'Gold Fine Art Ribbon' which can be removed like a belly band without untying the bow.
I secured the tag to the ribbon using 'Linen Thread'.

I have added stamped images from the 'In Symmetry' stamp set to my 'Tailor Made Tags Dies'.
Adding the 'Cork Speciality Paper' with a smidge of 'Gilded Leafing' adhered with 'Tear & Tape Adhesive'.

A trio of large 'Tailor Made Tags.
You can create 18 gift tags from 1 sheet of 12" x 12" 'Designer Series Paper'; they measure just under 2" x 4" when die cut.

A little close up of the strip of 'Gilded Leafing' and Cork combo.
As an added you can always stamp a sentiment, or image, onto the patterned 'Designer Series Paper', or even onto the 'Cork Speciality Paper'.

Next up is my friend Vicki.

I cannot wait to see what Vicki has been up to because she always has something amazing to share.

Thankyou for visiting my blog, and enjoy the hop.
