Welcome to the Stamping Sunday Design Team Blog Hop.
I'm Denita, from Australia - you may be starting with me, or have hopped from Yvonne from The Netherlands.
It's the 3rd Sunday in the month of January, and our creations follow our theme; 'Heart & Home' The Design Team have created some wonderful 'Heart & Home' themed creations for this month and we hope you are inspired.
I have created a couple of cards, and I have used some comforting elements as my 'Heart & Home' theme; Crochet and patchwork.
Memories of a handmade crocheted or patchwork blanket came to mind, and if you are lucky enough to have received one, or both! you know what I'm talking about...
I started out using the 'Cute Crochet 3D Embossing Folder' and 'Floral Delight 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper' for my first card.
Using a 'Blending Brush' I added some 'Crumb Cake' ink to the crochet pattern of the embossed cardstock to give some depth and created a *herringbone style pattern with the DSP for a patchwork-type element.
My second card came about by embossing the 'Floral Delight' Designer Series Paper using the 'Cute Crochet 3D Embossing Folder'.
The patterns from the embossing folder created some lovely details on the DSP.
Sentiment: "Cheerful Daisies' stamp set
Dies: 'Spotlight on Nature' & 'Country Flowers'
Details: Fussy cutting the individual crochet squares to create a crochet-style blanket for the card front.
This was so fun to create and such a cute creation (if I do say so myself).
'Basic Beige Bordered Ribbon'
Card measures 4-3/8" x 4-3/8" or 11.2cm x 11.2cm

It's the 3rd Sunday in the month of December and our creations follow our theme; 'Christmas Magic and Joyful Traditions'.
We have created some wonderful Christmas themed creations for this month.
Each Christmas I enjoy making packaging for Christmas treats, for the table, or as little somethings to give to friends. I love using Designer Series Paper with no waste, and my all-time favourite packaging uses 6" x 6" and I make a little creation called a 'Bag in a box'.
The 'Reindeer Fun Dies' and 'Spotlight on Nature Dies' were the perfect accompaniment to the 'Snowy Scenes Designer Series Paper'.
You will need: 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper
Simply Scored Scoring Tool or Paper Trimmer (for scoring)
Paper Snips
Tear & Tape Adhesive & Multipurpose Liquid Glue
I found a fabulous Youtube tutorial by Kim Price UK to make your very own packaging.
Thankyou Kim x
The packages hold some little chocolate treats, or gifts, held together with the 'Natural 3/8" Polka Dot Trim' tied with 'Gold Twisted Thread'.
I adore these little packages, literally tied up with string.
And they are easy-peasy to create.
I don't have any stamped images, however your imagination can run wild creating your very own stamped tags to coordinate with the theme you desire.
