I have created a box of 'Love' - and a treat filled gift for Mother's Day (in May). Decorated with the gorgeous 'Bloomin' Hearts Thinlits Die' and filled with chocolate hearts... No stamping required for this little love sensation.
I started out with the 'Bloomin' Hearts Thinlits Die' in Crumb Cake cardstock - I cut 2 hearts and adhered them together. Using the 'Crumb Cake Stampin' Write Marker' I doodled around the intricate patterns of the heart, then daubed the edges in Crumb Cake ink. This was the start of my creation, and I wasn't sure whether to make a card or not at this stage?
The 'Love Blossoms Embellishment Kit' was nearby, and the divine 'Blushing Bride' Satin Ribbon was wanting some attention.
How-amazing-does-this-bow-look? I am in love with this ribbon, and it sits so pretty on the side of the box. And not forgetting the enamel glitter dots sitting on the flowers. I have a new appreciation for pink!

made the box using the 'Envelope Punch Board'. I know, I know. A box from the Envelope Punch Board, you ask? Yes, it's true.
The 'Box Buster' is an epic tutorial for making boxes using the 'Envelope Punch Board' by Joanne James aka 'The Crafty Owl'. Click here for Joanne's instructions.
My box measures 3 1/2" x 5" x 1 1/2" - the dimensions are larger than the Punch Board and I used a 12" x 12" piece of cardstock to get my initial starting point.
Cardstock: 9" x 9"
First punch: 4"
Second punch: 6 1/8"

Thankyou so much for taking the time to visit my blog, and thankyou Kylie for the opportunity to be featured on your blog. This was so much fun, I will see you for the next International Stampin' Up! Blog Highlight.
