Goodmorning!
It is a very exciting Blog Hop today. I am from Australia and one of 10 International Stampin' Up! Demonstrators featuring in Kylie Bertucci's International Blog Hop. The links to all the other Demonstrators are below, so make sure you check out all the wonderful creations.
Do you ever get inspired to create by things you see in your everyday? You might see something in a magazine; clothing, flowers or décor? or something at home, at work or shopping that gets your creative mind in a buzz???
Well, I have a little creation that came to me as soon as I saw the Foxy Friends Bundle in the Annual Catalogue...
A little 'Foxy Friends' card I made for my little boy, Finnlay.
Inside: 'Have a Foxiful day' is always said as my husband leaves for work every morning. We're not sure if this is a quote from the movie 'Fantastic Mr Fox' or a little Finnlayism!
So cute!
The dude is stylin'!
Thankyou for visiting my blog and get yourself ready to go hopping to the other Blogs. There is inspiration aplenty with the creative talent that surrounds me. D x

My 6 1/2 year old loves foxes! Loves them. We were in Sydney last Winter and we found this foxy toque. As you can see, my creation is somewhat a replica in cardstock. And thanks to the 'Cable Knit Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder'
(try saying that 3 times!) - for the knitted effect on the cardstock.

Oh my gosh, I love your inspiration for your pretty card!
ReplyDeleteThankyou Debbie. The card went to school for news, and it's on his bedside as his favourite new thing! D x
DeleteLove it! How cool is this card...inspired by a sweet dude xox
ReplyDeleteThankyou so much Deli. Finnlay was happy that his photo would be going around the world! D x
DeleteSo cool Denita. I love the way you've replicated the colours.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Lou. Lucky our SU cardstock is so coordinated. D x
DeleteReally cute! How did you add the colors? Before you embossed it??
ReplyDeleteHi Lou. I embossed onto a piece of Sahara Sand cardstock, and then the other colours individually. The Night of Navy is one part fussy cut and the Calypso Coral & Pacific Point were embossed, fussy cut then cut in half before adhering. Does that make sense? D x
DeleteYou nailed it Denita! Love it!
ReplyDeleteAwww, thankyou Mel! D xox
DeleteAmazing card Denita. Love how you created the inlaid patterns on the cable knit embossing. Fantastic details inside and out. :)
ReplyDeleteThankyou Juan. It was a fun card to make. D x
DeleteAbsolutely adorable - the card, the hat and the sweet boy!
ReplyDeleteSo sweet of you, Wendie! Thankyou. D xox
DeleteGorgeous card Denita. Love how you matched the card to the hat. I really love that fox set :)
