Happy New Year and welcome to my blog for our first Inspire.Create.Stamping Challenge for 2022!
Our Challenge theme is 'Birthday', and we would love for you to join in the fun and add your project to our gallery here.
Now's the time to get crafting and make up a stash of Birthday cards for the start of the year.
My creations are quite quick & easy to make, adding a 'His & Hers' option using the same Designer Series Paper as a card front.
The cards are made to look like they are gift wrapped, with a 'Happy Birthday' gift tag.
'His' Card Base 'Misty Moonlight'
Layer & strips: 'Crushed Curry'
Card Front : 'Pattern Party Designer Series Paper'
'Hers' Card Base: 'Coastal Cabana'
Layer & strips: 'Bermuda Bay'
Card Front: 'Pattern Party Designer Series Paper'
Adhere the 'Pattern Party Designer Series Paper' to the layer, and adhere to the card base.
The cardstock strips are 1/4" wide, to create the 'ribbon'.
Die cut the 'Tailor Made Tags Dies' using 'Basic White' cardstock
Stamp the 'Happy Birthday' sentiment using 'Bermuda Bay' ink.
Stamp the spots using stamped off 'Crushed Curry' ink.
Loop through some 'Crumb Cake Twine'.
Apply 'Stampin' Dimensionals' to the back of the tag, and adhere to the card front.
I love the little banners on the 'Pattern Party Designer Series Paper', and the colours are a great combination for a 'His & Hers' card.
