Circle of Spring Global Design Project #GDP004

Hello and welcome...
It's Week 4 of the Global Design Project Challenge and this weeks theme is 'CASE' the designer. How gorgeous is this Christmas card by Louise Sharp? As soon as I saw this Challenge, I had in mind exactly what I was going to create.
Louise Sharp is so talented and clever; please take the time to check out her amazing blog and creations. I am in awe of Louise and everything she creates. Louise is a friend of mine and it all started by me 'stalking' her on Pinterest/Facebook/Instagram.
And all in a nice way.
It's truly amazing how friendships are formed through Stampin' Up! and I wouldn't be blogging if it weren't for this beautiful girl. Thankyou Louise.

And here is my creation for this weeks Challenge:
 A rustic Christmas wreath.

A close up of the centre of the wreath. I love adding detail; a tiny linen thread bow and the sweetest heart. The flowers remind me of Australian Christmas Bush; a beautiful flowering bush that flowers at Christmas time covered in the most beautiful red flowers.

I decided not to place a sentiment on the front of my card, instead I stamped something on the inside.

Tip: I used Stampin' Write Markers - Real Red for the flowers and Old Olive for the Leaves and vines. After stamping I coloured the flowers and leaves using a Blender Pen. I finished the flowers with a touch of So Saffron in the centres. I love colouring in!!!

Are you up for this weeks Challenge? It closes tomorrow, so there's still some time to join in the fun. If not, a new Challenge will be up for Monday. Check the GDP Schedule here

Thankyou for being here. I appreciate your visit, and hope you visit again soon. D x

PS: What do you think of my beautiful and prettied up blog page? I love it!
