Creation Station Blog Hop 'Thankful'

Wow! I could not be anymore excited. I was invited to join 'The Creation Station Blog Hop'. Yes, me!!! And I am surrounded by a lovely and talented bunch of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators who collectively will inspire you as we share our creations with you every month.

The theme for this month is 'Thankful'. Whilst our Northern Hemisphere friends in the United States of America and Canada will be celebrating Thanksgiving at the end of the month, we don't celebrate Thanksgiving in Australia. However, there are many things that we are Thankful for and there is nothing better than saying 'Thankyou'.
I have chosen Lighthearted Leaves - the most gorgeous stampset going, and I have also used the Season of Cheer Washi Tape to complete my projects. I love the Pear Pizzazz Polka Dot Washi Tape (who doesn't love Washi Tape?), and I love how it has complimented my creations.

I started with a card. A simple 'Thankyou'. With my Archival Black inkpad and Stampin' Write Markers, I had a colouring-in frenzy. I used Crumb Cake, Pear Pizzazz & Wild Wasabi Markers. They colour beautifully with their dual tipped brush and fine tip ends.
I framed the leaves using the Pear Pizzazz Washi Tape - lining the edge of Whisper White cardstock with the tape and using my Stampin' Trimmer to trim the tape into 8mm strips to make the frame. And a touch of Washi to the inside of the card too.
Then came along the Gift Tags - the Washi Tape was applied to the edge of some Whisper White cardstock before I punched the Circle tag. The Pear Pizzazz Cotton Ribbon and Linen Thread finish these little guys perfectly.
And then I thought the card needs an envelope. Enter the Envelope Punch Board! I used Crumb Cake cardstock for a sturdy envelope... and I prettied up the envelope with some stamping.
My ideas kept flowing and I had a thought to make a mini gift box (using the Envelope Punch Board!), with a belly band and a touch of Washi Tape.
Here is the link for you to make boxes from the Envelope Punch Board. It's amazing! http://www.thecraftyowl.co.uk/boxbuster/
Then another colour combination came along; using Very Vanilla, Hello Honey, Pool Party & Tip Top Taupe. The 'Hello Honey' Washi Tape is from the Sweet Li'l Things set. So sweet! I was on a roll, and have I told you I love colouring-in? I really do... No stress here.

And I could make my own colouring-in pages using this stamp set? Now, there's an idea!

Thankyou so much for being here on my very first blog hop, and for hopping on by. Make sure you keep on hopping to see all the other fabulous creations. It's as easy as clicking NEXT or BACK.
