Inspire.Create.Stamping Challenges Blog Hop - 'CASE the Designer' Challenge #088

Hello, and welcome to my blog.

The inspire.create.stamping Challenges Design Team have a 'CASE the Designer' Challenge. CASE = Copy And Share Everything!, and we have been inspired by one our NEW Design Team Members, Jo Blackman, and her amazing project.

We would love for you to be inspired by Jo's card, and add your project to our gallery here.

I love the patchwork look of the Herringbone pattern from Jo's card, and it did take me some time to arrange my pieces of Designer Series Paper.

My pieces of the retiring 'Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Paper' measure 1cm x 3cm, and once I found my groove, I added the pieces to 'Crumb Cake' cardstock.

I stamped the sentiment onto 'Crumb Cake' cardstock, and die cut using a circle from the retiring 'Stitched Shapes Dies'.

I embellished the sentiment with the stitched heart from the retiring 'Mini Curvy Keepsakes Box Dies', and the flowers & leaves from the 'In The Tropics Dies'.

And if you know me, a 'Linen Thread' bow is the finishing touch of detail to my 'Bumblebee' stitched heart.

I embossed the retiring 'Terracotta Tile' cardstock card front using the retiring 'Subtle 3D Embossing Folder', to add some fabric like texture.

The retiring 'Braided Linen Trim' is a lovely element to finish my creation.

Colour INKspiration #CI84

The Colour INKspiration Crew have done it again, and there is the most beautiful tropical inspired photo for our latest Colour Challenge.

'Magenta Madness', 'Just Jade', 'Rich Razzleberry', 'Garden Green' & 'Rococo Rose'.

You can also use Basic Black, Crumb Cake, Sahara Sand, Whisper White & Metallics.

I am loving the white pineapples appearing on Social Media.

They are fresh, and all I want is some Tropical warmth right now as we have had a very cold blast from Antarctica recently.

I have added all the Challenge colours onto my white pineapple, using the flowers & leaf die cuts from the 'In The Tropics Dies'.

No stamping, and all die cuts.

Stamping on the inside of the card, with a sentiment from the 'Timeless Tropical' stamp set.

How cute is this gift tag?

*Tip: I traced the negative space from the bottom part of the pineapple onto 'Whisper White' cardstock. Cut out the tracing, and adhere onto the back of the pineapple base to write a note.

A little matchy-matchy white pineapple and tropical flower love!

Colour INKspiration #CI82

Hello, and welcome to my blog.

The Colour INKspiration Crew have a new Colour Challenge, 

and we hope you can join in the fun?

This Challenge runs for 3 weeks, finishing up Monday 10th July @ 7pm AEST.

You can add your project to our fb page gallery here, and you might be a Guest Designer for us for a future Challenge.

Just Jade, Melon Mambo, Whisper White & Basic Black.

Metallics can be used as well.

 I have made a very bold and striking B&W card with lovely hints of 'Just Jade' & 
'Magenta Madness' with the tropical die-cut flowers.

 I have heat embossed the sentiment using 'White Stampin' Emboss Powder' onto 'Basic Black' cardstock, adding 'Stampin' Dimensionals to the back to give a lift off the card front.

I have used the retired 'Golden Honey Specialty Designer Series Paper' 
for the B&W striped card front.
You can recreate the stripes using 'Basic Black' & 'Whisper White' cardstock strips.
