Colour Challenge Global Design Project #gdp009

Hello and welcome to my blog!
I am completely and utterly on the edge of my seat, and Mondays are getting better! I was invited by the gorgeous Kylie Bertucci to be a Guest Stamper for this weeks Colour Challenge for the Global Design Project #gdp009. With less than 4 hours to complete a project worthy to be in the lineup of the most amazing and talented Design Team. Ever!
Yep, I'm pinching myself right now!!!
Wait until you see the colours we get to play with...
So, with some trepidation as to the timeframe to create and blog for this amazing challenge; I have done it:
A gift bag -  using the Gift Bag Punch Board, and the 3 colours from the 2015-2017 In Colour Collection which I might add, are a bit gorgeous don't you think?
I used the 'Friendly Wishes' stampset which is a beautiful stampset for Chalkboard style creations. However, I found my trusty Stampin' Write Markers in Tip Top Taupe, Mint Macaron & Watermelon Wonder and went to work colouring the font and flourishes to stamp onto a Whisper White Banner.
To bring the gift bag together, I tied a lovely piece of Tip Top Taupe Dotted Lace Trim. The trim is so pretty and dainty and fine.
The gift bag dimensions are 20.3cm x 28cm or 8" x 11" using Tip Top Taupe cardstock. These dimensions make up a Medium Gift Bag. And when complete measures 16.5cm or 6.5" tall.
I made a handful of punched flowers in Watermelon Wonder cardstock and adhered Vellum punched flowers over the top to soften them. I then added a sweet pearl to finish my flowers. The leaves are punched using the Bird Builder Punch, in Mint Macaron cardstock. Underneath the Banner is some Tip Top Taupe Designer Series Paper. I do love the Polka Dots.

I want to share with you the Gift Bag Punch Board by Stampin' Up! YouTube video: a step-by-step instructional video and introduction to this amazing tool.
