The Spot Challenge - Colour Challenge #119 | Denita Wright - Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

Hello, and welcome to my blog.

There is a newish Challenge Blog, and I have finally found some time to create a project.

The Spot Creative Challenge has a Colour Challenge, and I love the Colour combination they have put up this week.

Magenta Madness, Basic Black, Gold & Pool Party.

I created a 'Gold Foil' pineapple, die cut from 'In The Tropics Dies'.

It's just so fabulous!

I then created a stamped pineapple background, using 'Pool Party' ink on 'Pool Party' cardstock.

The 'Stamparatus' helped me make the ombre effect, and a little run through the 'Subtle 3D Embossing Folder' for a little texture.

I added die cut 'Magenta Madness' &'Pool Party'flowers to the pineapple, and the sentiment has been die cut 3 times to enhance the 'aloha' on the card front.

I LOVE your card Denita! This pineapple die is one of my favorites and making it in gold and adding the magenta madness flowers was brilliant! The pool party in the background matted in a thin layer of magenta madness on the basic black card base really set it off! Thanks so much for joining us in our color challenge over at The Spot this week!
