'I'm dreaming of a White Christmas'...
This week, the 12th Global Design Project Challenge is 'CASE the Designer'. Check out the Design Teams creations - they are all so amazing.
Brian King is the Designer this week and he has created the cutest Christmas card to CASE!!!
http://www.global-design-project.com/2015/11/global-design-project-gdp012.html
Here is my card, and I hope I do Brian proud.
My card is a combination of the following:
Theme - Winter or Christmas
Layout - the layers with the diagonal slope
Colours - Cherry Cobbler, Pool Party & Whisper White
However, my stampset is called 'White Christmas'.
That's why I was singing at the start of my blog post. I hope you joined in?
I don't know Brian personally, but I know he loves layers and fussy cutting. All those little branches have been cut out by hand.
Every. Single. One.
I then layered some Dazzling Details to the branches for a glittery, snowy effect. And the Cardinals sitting in the trees are a perfect addition with the snowman in his cute stripey scarf.
My card was inspired by friends who have recently moved to Chicago IL, from the West Coast (California). After seeing their photos of where they live, and their first snow fall and first snowman built this week - the inspiration came from them. It also reminds me of my first White Christmas spent in the French Alps. Oh, the memories.

Don't forget you can join in on the fun of the Global Design Project Challenge - you can see the Schedule here

Thankyou for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed my creation for this week? I love hearing from you too, so please leave me a comment. D x

  6. Oh my, Denita. Another stunner. We need to a new term for this kind of fussy cutting. (Nutty cutting? I don't know.) The time and effort is so worth the effect though. Such a beautiful card. Thanks so much for playing along with Global Design Project.
