This week I have entered into 2 Challenges.
I have combined the Global Design Project 'Sketch Challenge' #gdp030,
and TGIFC#49 'Colour Challenge' using Wisteria Wonder, Calypso Coral & Bermuda Bay.
Put them together and what have I got?....
A 'Party Wishes' watercolour Birthday card! I changed the sketch by having my card Landscape - to fit the Birthday cake image and the 'Celebrate' sentiment.
I coloured the Birthday cake stamp using Stampin' Write Markers in the Challenge Colours. I spritzed water onto the stamp and pressed the image onto Watercolour paper. After the image was dry, I edged the Birthday cake stamp using the Crumb Cake Stampin' Write Marker and stamped over the top of the Watercolour Birthday cake.
The 'Whisper White' banner has been embossed using the 'Confetti Textured Impressions Embossing Folder', sitting on top of a strip of 'Bermuda Bay' cardstock.
I love the mini banners! I stamped a couple of Birthday cakes onto the Watercolour paper and chose the better of the 2 for the image on my card. The other cake was used for my banners, and I am so happy with how they turned out.
