Kelly's Stamping Friends Blog Hop

We are having a little Blog Hop celebrating Kelly Kent and her 5 years as a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. Kelly has invited a whole bunch of Stampin' Up! Demonstrator friends to join in the fun.
Kelly and I are part of the 'Colour INKspiration Crew' & 'Stamping Sunday Blog Hop' and although we have never met in person, we live in Australia. However, Kelly is in Western Australia and I am on the East Coast and we have a wonderful Social Media friendship.
And I love her stuff!

Kelly has chosen the theme; 'Happy', and a Happy Birthday card had to be made.



My 'Happy Birthday' creation has a couple of NEW products from the Annual Catalogue - available tomorrow!!!
The 'Happy Birthday Thinlits Die' & 'Delightful Daisy' Designer Series Paper.

Details:
Fussy-cut flowers from the NEW 'Delightful Daisy' DSP.
'Night of Navy' Solid Baker's Twine bow.
De-bossed background using the 'Softly Falling' TIEF on 'Whisper White' cardstock.

 On the inside of my card is a strip of the 'Delightful Daisy DSP' - the reverse side of the fussy-cut flowers on my card front.
The sentiment is from the 'Balloon Celebration' stamp set and is heat embossed in gold.

Kelly and I have something else in common. I received my 5 year pin from Stampin' Up! too. Maybe we'll walk together at OnStage in November? Happy Stampiversary Kelly!

Global Design Project - 'Colour Challenge' #gdp089

 

 This week the Global Design Project #gdp089 are having a Colour Challenge. You can also join in and be the Guest Designer for the next 'Colour Challenge'.

I love a Colour Challenge. I try to keep it simple, and not let the colours overtake my creation. I want them to make an impact, yet in a Clean & Simple way = CAS

I have used the 'Number of Years' stamp set for my creation. I am so happy that this set is returning in the 2017 Annual Catalogue.

Details:
A square from the 'Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies'.
'Vellum cardstock' on top of 'Calypso Coral' cardstock.
And the heroine of my creation; the very pretty and very NEW 'Calypso Coral Ombre Ribbon' - available in the NEW Annual Catalogue this Thursday 1st June, 2017.

Stamping Sunday Blog Hop - Wood Textures Suite

Hello, and welcome to the 'Stamping Sunday Blog Hop', hosted by the lovely Sara Levin.
I am Denita, a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator from the South Coast of Eastern Australia, and I am part of the Stamping Sunday Crew. We hop the last Sunday of every month.

Something for the ladies, and something for the guys!

Some colouring with Stampin' Write Markers to make this pretty background. A little gift tag, and some sweet 'Berry Burst Finely Woven Ribbon' for my notecard. 
And a Gift Bag made using the 'Gift Bag Punch Board' - measurements: 11" x 8" and Medium width.

The Stampin' Write Markers I used for my floral background; Old Olive, Pear Pizzazz, Fresh Fig, Berry Burst, Flirty Flamingo, Powder Pink & Blushing Bride.

For the guys. A crate full of macarons - I can't believe the macarons are the perfect size to fit in the crate! And a matchy-matchy card. I have used the NEW In Colour 'Tranquil Tide' with 'Crumb Cake'.

Isn't this such a lovely lot of cards, crates & creations from the 'Wood Textures Suite'?

Global Design Project - 'CASE the Designer' #gdp088

Hi there, and welcome to my blog.

This week the Global Design Project #gdp088 Challenge is 'CASE the Designer'. 

Shawn De Oliveira is the Design Team Member we are CASEing, and Shawn's creations are always amazing.

My creation has a little bit of this & that of Shawn's card. See for yourself...

 I used the smaller rose from the 'Rose Garden Thinlits Dies', and added the die cut leaves from the larger rose.

My sentiment, embossed in gold, is from the 'Birthday Blooms' stamp set.
The colours of the rose & leaves are from the NEW '2017-2019 In Color' collection; Powder Pink & Tranquil Tide. This gorgeous In Colour collection will be available Thursday 1st June, 2017. Only 1 week away!

Details: The rose is sitting on a vellum die-cut oval from 'Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies'. Beneath the rose & leaves are tiny pieces of 'Stampin' Dimensionals' lifting the rose from the oval.

I have added a touch of 'Powder Pink' cardstock between the 'Crumb Cake' card base and mat of 'Very Vanilla' cardstock.
And the gold embossed sentiment. Sweet & simple.
