Stamping Sunday Blog Hop - Gingham Gala

Hello, and welcome to my blog.
By now, you might be hopping along with the Stamping Sunday Blog Hop with our 'Gingham Gala' Blog Hop.
You may have hopped from Wilma in The Netherlands, or have started with me in Australia?
 I hope you enjoy what we have in store for you.

I love the stained glass look of the butterfly from the 'Butterfly Gala Bundle'. 
These butterflies look great stamped with Black ink onto Whisper White cardstock, or coloured in with your favourite colouring tools.

For the Beginner crafter.
Take some cardstock, an ink pad, some 'Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper' and a Bundle; 'Butterfly Gala stamp set & Punch'.
I also used a 'Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker' to outline the edge of the DSP.

And here we have a simple, yet gorgeous card ready to send to a Best Friend.

For the Casual Crafter.

I have added colouring using 'Watercolour Pencils' and a 'Blender Pen' on the butterflies, the sentiment die cut with 'Stitched Rectangle Framelits Dies' and some 'Rhinestone Jewels' on the sentiment.

Another feature is the 'Lemon Lime Twist' cardstock mat underneath the DSP.

I also added some 'Stampin Dimensionals' to life the sentiment.

There is also a little bit of left over DSP for the inside of your card.

For the Avid Crafter.
A little bit more involved with a 'Lemon Lime Twist' cardstock card base, a 'Basic Black' mat, some 'Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon' - a carryover from the 'Holiday Catalogue' and some 'Silver Metallic Thread'.

Watercolour Pencils used: 'Bermuda Bay' & 'Daffodil Delight'.

And some left over 'Gingham Gala DSP' for the inside of the card.

How gorgeous are these cupcakes? 

I wonder which stamp set to use?

I couldn't go past the 'Hello Cupcake' stamp set from the Sale-a-Bration Brochure.

The Swirls & Curls TIEF is a lovely embossed background for my sweet cupcake. 

 I mixed a couple of drops of Coastal Cabana ink refill, and Flirty Flamingo ink refill into Shimmery White Embossing Paste to create icing for my cupcake.

I also made a gift tag. 

The Gingham Gala DSP is just the lovliest paper, and the Highland Heather gingham is perfect with my cupcake.

Some heat embossing of the srntiment, from the 'Butterfly Gala' stamp set.

I have used a Sponge Dauber and Crumb Cake ink to daub the edges of the circle element.
