Just Add Ink - 'Just Add and Easel' #490

Hello, and welcome to my blog!

I have made a very simple easel card, and I have used the 'Sending You Thoughts' stamp set and 'Sending Flowers Dies' - from the 2020 Sale-a-Bration Brochure.

I started out with 'Smoky Slate' cardstock, for my easel card.

Adding lovely 'Subtle' colours for my darling flowers, and some gorgeous 'Smoky Slate' gingham from the 'Neutrals 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper' for the card front.

A sweet sentiment from the 'Sending You Thoughts' SAB stamp set.

I am loving the 'Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon! A lovely little addition to my card.
All done, and all folded up ready to send.

Make your own easel card! You get 2 from 1 piece of cardstock.
Measurements:
10.5cm x 29.5cm, and score at 9.5cm & 19.5cm.
4-1/4" x 11", and score at 3-3/4" & 7-1/2".

Stamping Sunday Blog Hop - Peaceful Poppies Suite

Hello, and welcome to my blog.

The Stamping Sunday Design Team are featuring the delightful 'Peaceful Poppies Suite', from the January-June 2020 Mini Catalogue.

I absolutely love the 'Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper', and I started out by cutting down this lovely piece of the watercoloured poppies!
I embossed the DSP using the 'Subtle 3D Embossing Folder, by running it through my Die cutting & Embossing Machine.

'Happy Birthday'
The sentiment is from the 'Peaceful Moments' stamp set, and the doily-style die cut image is from the 'Painted Labels Dies'.
How sweet is the 'Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon'? - did you know you can colour the ribbon with 'Stampin' Blends Markers'? Brilliant!

Scattered throughout the DSP are 5 flower shaped sequins, from the 'Peaceful Poppies Sequins' in 'Light Poppy Parade'.

I have created a 'Moments 2020' type diary/monthly journal, using a basic notebook covered with the delightful DSP.
The notebook had a Kraft cover, and I needed some 'Poppy Parade' cardstock to add some colour to the spine.
*The 2020 is from a retired stamp set 'Labeler Alphabet'.

I have used a 'Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker' to colour the 'Moments' sentiment, and stamped onto 'Whisper White' cardstock.

Die cut using a 'Stitched Rectangle Die'.

I have 'stamped off' the Poppy image using 'Smoky Slate' ink. 

'Stamp off' the ink onto scrap paper, then stamp the second image of the poppy onto the sentiment.

Add a layer of 'Poppy Parade' cardstock underneath the sentiment.

I have added 12 mini tabs to the pages of the notebook.

There are 12 tabs in total, and I made them using cardstock and the '1/2" Circle Punch'.

Take 1" x 8" or 2.5cm x 20cm of 'Poppy Parade' cardstock.

Score the cardstock through the middle at 1/2" or 1.25cm.

Line up the score line in the middle of the circle Punch, and punch your little circles.

Fold the circles in half, and burnish with a 'Bone Folder'.

Adhere the tabs onto the pages of your notebook.

Just Add Ink - 'Celebrate' Blog Hop #488

The Just Add Ink Design Team are celebrating 10 years of Challenges and 1,000 followers!

Needless to say our theme is 'Celebrate', and the Blog Hop is full of wonderful celebratory creations by our wonderful team.

I am celebrating by using the 'Timeless Tropical Bundle' 🍍, 

with a little bit of Pineapple fun.

'Do you like Pina Coladas?'
I have die cut the pineapple, using the 'Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper, and colouring the paper with an 'Aqua Painter' and Ink pads.
Top: Colour with 'Old Olive' and add some 'Mossy Meadow'.
Bottom: Colour with 'Crushed Curry', and add 'Old Olive' & 'Soft Suede'.

Background:
*Splatter the 'Mango Melody' cardstock mat using an 
'Aqua Painter' and 'Mango Melody' ink.
*Stamp the sentiment.
* Emboss using the 'Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder.
* The straw has been cut down from a paper straw!

The flowers & leaves are a sweet finish to my Tropical creation.
