It's the first Sunday in the month of August, which means it's Creation Station Design Team Blog Hop time!
Thankyou for joining me, and you may be here after visiting Martin in the UK?, or you have started with me in Australia.
Our theme this month is 'Ombre Blending'... get ready for some beautiful ombre blending, and get hopping with the rest of the amazing Design Team at the bottom of my post.
*Ombre - is the blending of one colour hue to another, usually moving tints and shades from light to dark.
I have created an ombre panel & die cut flowers using 'Fresh Freesia', 'Bubble Bath' and 'Flirty Flamingo' ink and 'Blending Brushes'.
The leaves are coloured using 'Lemon Lime Twist' and 'Granny Apple Green' ink.
An addition of scoring on the 'Thick Basic White' card front using the 'Simply Scored Scoring Tool'.
I love blending ink with the 'Blending Brushes' - you can achieve a beautiful effect with colours of your choice.
'Hello'
Heat embossed sentiment from the Online Exclusives 'Tropical Leaf' stamp set, and die cut with a label die from the 'Stylish Shapes Dies'.
I added some dots around the flowers using a 'Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker'.
A little bit of 'Black & White 1/4"Gingham Ribbon' was the perfect finish.
Oh, too cute!
I just adore this little tag! The 'Basic Black' tag completed the look with a bow of 'Black Twine' tying together the gingham ribbon.
Next up is Julie, and I can't wait to see her ombre creation!
Thankyou for visiting, and I hope you enjoyed my creation?
Looking forward to seeing you next month for our September hop. D x
