Going Gingham Style - Creation Station Design Team Blog Hop

It's the first Sunday in the month, and the Creation Station Design Team are having a fun Blog Hop 'Going Gingham Style'.

My 'Gingham Style' is the 'Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper'.
Plus daisies. I love Gingham + daisies!


A card, a notecard & coordinating envelope and a Gift tag!

I ran the 'Daffodil Delight Gingham Gala DSP' through the Big Shot using the 'Subtle Dynamic TIEF'. I love the look and feel of the DSP, as it looks like fabric.
I then added the largest 'Rectangle Stitched Framelits Die', and die cut the card front.
Stamp the stem and leaves, from the 'Daisy Delight' stamp set, with 'Old Olive' ink and fussy cut. Adhere the punched daisies along the stem.

A 3" x 4" notecard and envelope. 
The envelope is 1 piece of 6" x 6" Gingham Gala DSP. All dimensions are in the 'Envelope Punch Board', and it's so easy to make.

And the sweetest Gift tag!

Inspire.Create.Stamping Challenges - 'Colour' Challenge #037

Hello, and welcome to my blog.
The Inspire.Create.Stamping Design Team have been creating some lovely Colour Challenge projects, and we would love for you to join in the fun.

Mint Macaron, Pool Party, Whisper White & Daffodil Delight are our gorgeous colours.

I have created a Medium sized Gift bag, and coordinating notecard.

I omitted a sentiment, as I love the daisy element as a statement on my creations. However, they are perfect for Birthday, Mother's Day, Thankyou or any other occasion as you desire.

Adding some texture using Whisper White cardstock, embossed using the 'Layered Leaves Dynamic TIEF' for a lovely feature.

 The Gift Bag has a belly band to secure to opening at the top. 
Wrap a piece of Whisper White cardstock measuring 7-1/2" x 1" (19cm x 2.5cm), and secure the ends with 'Tear & Tape Adhesive'. Wrap the 'Daffodil Delight Ribbon' around the belly band, securing with 'Tear & Tape Adhesive'. 
Attach the Daisy using 'Stampin' Dimensionals'.
Gift Bag dimensions: 11" x 8" (28cm x 20cm)

To create my daisies, I stamped off the 'Pool Party' ink for subtle petals. 

I stamped off the 'Mint Macaron' ink for the solid leaf, then stamped the outline of the leaf. Fussy cut the leaves, and adhere underneath daisy.

Stamp onto 'Daffodil Delight' cardstock with 'Daffodil Delight' ink to create the centre of the daisy. Attach to the daisy using a Stampin' Dimensional.

Notecard dimensions: x 5-1/2" x 2-3/4" - scored & folded at 2-3/4" (14cm x 7cm - scored & folded at 7cm)

Whisper White mat: 2-9/16" x 2-9/16" (6.5cm x 6.5cm)

I have made some 'Thankyou' notecards.
Such simple little things made with stamps, ink & cardstock.

'Thankyou'
A collaboration of 2 stamp sets; 'Daisy Delight' for the sentiment, 
and 'Wood Words' for the flourish.

I wanted to have a 'pyrography' effect on the 'Wood Textures DSP'.
I have used the lightest of the papers within the DSP, and stamped the images with 
'Early Espresso Classic Stampin' Pad' to look like the burnt wood.

I added some 'Linen Thread' too.
