Global Design Project - Theme Challenge #gdp071

What a fun 'Theme' the Global Design Project #gdp071 have come up with for this weeks Challenge! 3D or 'Off the Page'.

I really love making 3D projects and I hope you like what I have created?

I grabbed my trusty 'Gift Bag Punch Board' and made a gorgeous Gift Bag!

I have used the *Sale-A-Bration FREE item, 'Inside the Lines' Designer Series Paper to make my Gift Bag.
I coloured the Mandala design using the NEW 'Watercolor Pencils', and I have used a **'Blender Pen' for the blending.

**A Blender Pen was best to use to colour the small details on the DSP.

Yes, I fussy-cut the Mandala and flourish, and used Stampin' Dimensionals to lift it from the bag. I also added some 'Basic Black' cardstock to the flap, securing with a mini magnet to hold the top closed.

Gold elements: Embossing the 'hello' sentiment with 'Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder', and adding touches of gold with 'Gold Sequin Trim' & 'Gold Metallic Thread'.

So this happened on Monday...

Today's creation is for the Global Design Project 'Sketch Challenge' #gdp070
You can let your imagine go wild when it comes to a Sketch Challenge, and I love the Challenge for this week.

I have used some products from the 'Cool Treats Suite' featured in the Occasions Catalogue and my creation is very cool...

A fun way to use the 'Cool Treats' stampset, gorgeous 'Tasty Treats Specialty DSP' & 'Sprinkles Embellishments.

The dainty white grosgrain ribbon is from the 'Sending Love Ribbon' combo pack, and it makes bows beautifully.

A closeup of the sparkly 'Sprinkles Embellishments' - they are so pretty, and look so lovely around the 'You're Cool' sentiment.

'Travel' - Kylie Bertucci's International Stampin' Up! Blog Highlight

I'm back! And this time it's for Kylie Bertucci's International Stampin' Up! Blog Highlight Theme: 'Travel'.

My creation is using my favourite stampset 'You're Sublime'. I have loved this stampset as soon as I opened the Occasions Catalogue at OnStage in Melbourne in November 2015!!!, and I thought the caravan was perfect for our 'Travel' theme.

Here she is; the most darling of caravans you ever did see. And the 'Follow your heart' sentiment is such a perfect 'Travel' sentiment.
I have made my card for friends who are moving back to the UK. They moved to Australia 8 years ago, and due to lots of different reasons, they are heading back home in a couple of weeks. They are definitely following their hearts.

The background of my card is from the 'Serene Scenery DSP Stack'. A lovely beach scene reminiscent of where we live on the Coast.
The caravan is sitting on a vellum Oval from the 'Stitched Shapes Framelit Dies' - Yay! they're back!!! And the 'Burlap Ribbon' & 'Gold Natural Trim' finish this card nicely.
