Global Design Project - 'Sketch Challenge' #gdp078

I love a Sketch Challenge, and this weeks Global Design Project #gdp078 is just so lovely!
Why not get your creative hat on and try this one out over the weekend?

Here is my creation - omitting the gorgeous hearts, I have opted for some patterned DSP instead with a touch of 'Melon Mambo' and 'Gold'.

Making the most of the Sale-A-Bration 'Inside the Lines' Designer Series Paper, I have used a piece of DSP as the background with 'Basic Black' & 'Melon Mambo' cardstock to add some pop of colour!

I am catching up with my 2 best friends in a couple of weeks, and this little sentiment is so us! A weekend gathering with some eating, drinking and chatting. Something we are all looking forward to. Bring on the bubbles!

The inside of the card needed a lovely strip of DSP. Do you decorate the inside of your cards? It adds an element of gorgeous and can continue the theme with this added touch.

Global Design Project - 'Theme Challenge' #gdp075

Have you seen this weeks 'Theme Challenge' for the Global Design Project #gdp075? It's delightful!

I have a few stampsets with 'Winged Creatures', however, I ended up using the Sale-a-Bration 'Inside the Lines DSP'...

I have spotlighted the beautiful dragonfly from one of the collections.

I coloured the dragonfly and background using my 'Watercolor Pencils' and a 'Blenderpen'.

The wings have a swish of 'Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush' for a bit of shimmer. So pretty in real life.

The sentiment is from 'Butterfly Basics' stampset. A little bit of 'Burlap Ribbon' and 'Bermuda Bay Sequin Trim' underneath add a little more colour & fun.

Global Design Project - Theme Challenge #gdp071

What a fun 'Theme' the Global Design Project #gdp071 have come up with for this weeks Challenge! 3D or 'Off the Page'.

I really love making 3D projects and I hope you like what I have created?

I grabbed my trusty 'Gift Bag Punch Board' and made a gorgeous Gift Bag!

I have used the *Sale-A-Bration FREE item, 'Inside the Lines' Designer Series Paper to make my Gift Bag.
I coloured the Mandala design using the NEW 'Watercolor Pencils', and I have used a **'Blender Pen' for the blending.

*Sale-A-Bration: Spend at least $90AUD and choose your FREE item.

**A Blender Pen was best to use to colour the small details on the DSP.

Yes, I fussy-cut the Mandala and flourish, and used Stampin' Dimensionals to lift it from the bag. I also added some 'Basic Black' cardstock to the flap, securing with a mini magnet to hold the top closed.

Gold elements: Embossing the 'hello' sentiment with 'Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder', and adding touches of gold with 'Gold Sequin Trim' & 'Gold Metallic Thread'.
