Global Design Project - Colour Challenge #gdp101

It's time for another Colour Challenge for this weeks Global Design Project #gdp101. And with every GDP Colour Challenge is the opportunity to be selected as a Guest Designer for the next Colour Challenge! Hope you play along too?

So, what to create using these gorgeous colours? I am in need of a 3D item, a couple actually, and here is what I have come up with...

A mini box! I can't take credit for the design of the box, because Angie Juda has a great tutorial here - I just added my own flair with the decorating.

The 'Label Me Pretty' Bundle was the perfect addition to my box. The 'Night of Navy Gingham Ribbon' is just so lovely too - this is a belly band. I also love the addition of the 'Polka Dots' embossing, in this case it's the debossed side.
And that teeny heart in the bottom right corner - that comes from a NEW Christmas 'Hearts Come Home Bundle', available in the Holiday Catalogue 1st September, 2017.

I have used 'Bermuda Bay' & 'Flirty Flamingo' Stampin' Write Markers for the sentiment, then punched with a Circle punch, and added to the label with 'Stampin' Dimensionals'.
Complete with tea bags, and a couple of chocolate treats. And that colour coordination! Well, something close to 'Bermuda Bay'.

In the next 2 weeks I am having a couple of Workshops/Parties, and I wanted to make something for the Hostesses. I think these little gift boxes are a lovely 'Thank You' gift.

Thankyou for visiting, and you are more than welcome to leave a comment - I do try and reply. They are the best warm fuzzies.
Have a wonderful weekend. D x

  2. Thankyou Karen. As long as those Lindt balls can fit in a box, I am happy; just so you know 6 Lindt balls can fit inside without the teabags. Maybe that's a better option for my Hostesses? D xox
