Stamping Sunday Blog Hop - Whimsical Wings

Welcome to the Stamping Sunday Design Team Blog Hop.

I'm Denita, from Australia - you may be starting with me, or have hopped from my beautiful friend Cheryll in South Australia, Australia.

It's the 3rd Sunday in the month of February, and our creations follow our theme; 'Whimsical Wings & Soaring Hearts'.

We have created some fun & whimsical creations for this month.

I have used the 'Hello Ladybug' stamp set and coordinating 'Ladybug Builder Punch' for my creations... they are my 'Whimsical Wings'.

I have made a spinner card.
A cute and whimsical ladybug that spins when you open the card - the mechanism is the 'Lemon Lolly Baker's Twine' that is twisted and when you open the card the circle element spins.

Happy Birthday - stamped using the 'Biggest Wish' stamp set.

Celebrate, Celebrate, Celebrate!
Thanks to the 'Circle Sayings' stamp set.

And that die-cut circle element can be made into the sweetest gift tag!, with some texture from the 'Quatrefoil

Such a cute and whimsical duo with the darling 'Lighter Than Air 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper' and coordinating 'Bakers Twine 3 Color Pack'.

Below is the list of our fabulous Design Team, and you can click on the NEXT BLOG to visit the rest of the Design Teams creations.

See you next month. D x

Inspire.Create.Stamping Challenges Blog Hop - 'Sketch' Challenge #082

| on
21:00

It's the first Challenge for 2021, for the Inspire.Create.Challenges Design Team.

We are so excited to be back, and we have an awesome 'Sketch' Challenge to kick start the New Year.

Are you keen to try a Challenge? Grab a stamp set, ink pads, Designer Series Paper & embellishments, and have fun with us.

The Design Team are here to literally inspire you, and we want to see your projects!

Add your creation to our gallery here.

I started out with the NEW 'Fine Art Floral Suite Collection', found in the January-June 2021 Mini Catalogue.
It's just divine!

Step 1: Stamp the flourish using 'Old Olive' ink, and die cut.
Step 2: Stamp the image in 'Flirty Flamingo' ink, die cut and fussy cut the 3 largest flowers.
Step 3: Stamp the image using 'Blushing Bride' ink, die cut and fussy cut the smaller flower & buds.
Step 4: Adhere the flowers and buds to the 'Old Olive' image.
Step 5: Add 'Mini Stampin' Dimensionals' to the back.

I embossed the 'Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper' using the 'Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder', folding the top corner into a concertina, and exposing the 'Blushing Bride' cardstock underneath.

I added a splash of 'Gilded Leafing' - rubbing a small amount of 'Multipurpose Liquid Glue' into the corner, and sponging a small piece of 'Gilded Leafing' to make a little statement!

'Happy Birthday' stamped with 'Jet Black Staz On' ink, and die cut with the coordinating die.

The 'Fine Art Ribbon' makes a little statement underneath the sentiment.

I added some 'Gilded Leafing' to the bottom right corner as well.
It's the best stuff!

I love how the flourish sits on the die cut circle element.
I really love the coordination of everything with this Suite - the 'Gilded Leafing' is something else and an awesome new product that I will be using as often as I can!

Thankyou for making it this far. I hope to have inspired you to get creating and making?, and I would love to see your project in our gallery.
See you next time. D x

Just Add Ink - 'Colour' Challenge #534

| on
00:00

We have a lovely 'Colour Challenge' for Just Add Ink.

The Design Team have created some beautiful Christmas creations for inspiration, and we hope that you join in the fun and add your project to our gallery here.

'Real Red', 'Mossy Meadow' & 'Pear Pizzazz'.
You can also use 'Basic Black', 'Very Vanilla', 'Whisper White' & 'Metallics'.

How beautiful is the 'Joy to the World Paper Pumpkin Kit'?
You get a kit to make up 8 Christmas cards, and the stamp set can be used to create different Christmas cards...

I stamped the flower images from the 'Joy to the World' stamp set, and coloured them with 'Stampin' Blends Markers'. Those little blooms have been fussy cut, and so has the sentiment.
I have coloured the 'Rhinestone Basic Jewels' with the 'Dark Real Red Stampin' Blends Marker'

The partial wreath is die cut using 'Shimmery White' cardstock, and watercoloured using the 'Water Painters' with 'Pear Pizzazz' ink and a touch of 'Mossy Meadow'.

I added a touch of texture for the background using the 'Subtle 3D Embossing Folder'.

Thankyou for visiting my blog, and I hope to have inspired you with my creation for the JAI Colour Challenge #534.
I am looking forward to seeing your project, and see you next time.
