Stamping Sunday Blog Hop - Favourite DSP, Ribbon or Embellishment

It's the 4th Sundayin the month, and we are Stamping Sunday Blog Hopping.

This month we are creating with our 'Favourite DSP, Ribbon or Embellishment'. 

I have used a little bit of everything from one of my Favourite Suites, and you will love what the Design Team have created too.

My Favourite of everything is from the 'Animal Expedition' Suite.

Beginner Crafter card.
Whisper White card base.
Stamp the sentiment into the bottom right corner.
DSP Banner: 4" x 1/2" and cut ends on an angle, Circle Element: 2" Circle Punch, and fussy cut frogs.

Casual Crafter card.
Stepped up with a Whisper White mat. Stamp the sentiment. Draw the border with a Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker. Adhere the Circle Element with Stampin' Dimensionals, and adhere the wooden heart.

Avid Crafter card.
Crumb Cake card base.
Whisper White mat - stamp the sentiment. Draw the border. Emboss with the Layered Leaves Dynamic TIEF.
Linen Thread looped underneath the Circle Element, and add a couple of fussy cut leaves.

A closer look at the loved up frogs - they are so adorable!

I love the Rhino too.

I have made a note card and Gift Bag duo, and have used my favourite 'Leaf Ribbon' as the closure on the Gift Bag.

A similar creation to the Avid card I made earlier.

I love fussy cutting, however, the Rhino has been die cut from the DSP! Love that!

Just Add Ink #391 - Just Choose Two

This week for the Just Add Ink - Just Choose Two Challenge #391

'Twine - Trees - Tags'.

 I could not Just Choose Two, and I had to use all three options!

 I have made Christmas Treat Bags for my 2 boys. 

A Christmas table treat filled with Christmas chocolates & treats, and even Santa is holding a tree!

I have cut the 12" x 12" 'Merry Little Christmas DSP' in half. Scored the top 3/4" then fold over to reveal the other side of the DSP, and the bottom scored 1", then wrapped the DSP around a box to make a treat bag.

 I cannot take credit for the design of my Treat Bag. 
A few years ago I admired Connie Collins and her 'Easy Peasy Gift Bag'. 
Wrapping a box with DSP to make a really gorgeous Gift Bag/Treat Bag, and you get 2 bags from 1 piece of DSP.

Nature, Flowers & Showers - 'Creation Station Design Team Blog Hop'

It's April! And it is such a beautiful time of the year as we are in the middle of Autumn in Australia.

Fittingly, the Creation Design Team Blog Hop is about Nature, Flowers & Showers and the 'Weather Together' Bundle is my go-to for this months theme.

 The 2015-2017 In Colours are leaving us in the next couple of months, and I have used the 'Designer Series Paper Stack' polka dots for my creations:

 Pretty polka dot parasols on 'Crumb Cake' cardstock. 

I am really going to miss this 'In Colour Collection'.

The 'White Stampin' Chalk Marker' is a great tool to highlight features on a card. I used it to outline the handle and stem of the parasol, and the outline of the mat. 

 I came across an image recently. It was a line drawing of a little girl holding an umbrella, and watercoloured lines of colourful rain. Do you think I can find that little piece of art? - to be giving the artist credit! I thought I saved it to my ever growing Pinterest boards, but no. 

From the image of the little girl and her umbrella in the colourful rain, I have made this little fairy from the 'Fairy Celebration' stampet, under the rainbow rain. 

It was a tricky one to make; there was masking of the umbrella and fairy to make the 'Brushstrokes' rain with 'Brights Stampin' Write Markers'. 

Add a little spritz with the 'Stampin' Spritzer' to make the watercolour effect before stamping. A touch of watercolouring at the end using an 'Aqua Painter' to create the blended rain over the top and side of the umbrella.
