Social Stamping - 'Birthdays in Isolation'

Hello, and welcome to my blog.
Kelly has organised a 'Social Stamping Blog Host' and the theme is 'Birthdays in Isolation'.
You may have hopped to me from my beautiful friend Leonie, and her stunning creation? Or you have started right here?
Enjoy the projects you are about to see, and thankyou for being here.

Kelly has a May Birthday, and so has my oldest son, Harrison.
There won't be any Birthday parties for these 2, but we will celebrate Isolation style!

A little mix of stamp sets and die cuts, for this creation.
Subtle and Neutral colours of So Saffron, Pear Pizzazz & Smokey Slate to create the poppies.

'Happy Birthday' from the about to retire, 'Perennial Birthday' stamp set.
The poppies are stamped off, then stamped over the sentiment.

I love poppies, and I wanted to make yellow ones.
Yellow Poppies mean 'wealth and success'.

And a little bit of stamping on the inside of the card.

The poppies have an outline using 'So Saffron' cardstock, and the middle is 'Vellum' with a swirl of 'Daffodil Delight Dark Stampin' Blends Marker'.

Now, for Harrison's Birthday card, ready for May 26th!
A something like a Chicago Bulls NBA Basketball Jersey.
*I have used retired products to create the name and number, and everything else is current product.

 A little bit of stamping on the inside;
'Perennial Birthday' for the sentiment, and 'Little Twinkle' stamp set for the stamped off image over the sentiment.

I am really happy how this one turned out.
A bit of a Google Search helping me with making 'the black Chicago Bulls away jersey'.
Thank goodness Harrison didn't want a cake replica!

Next up is Michelle, and her amazing project.

Thankyou for paying me a visit, and be sure to hop along to see the other ladies, and their fabulous 'Birthdays in Isolation' creations.
Happy Birthday to you, Kelly Kent, and thankyou for another glorious hop
with awesome folks.
D x
