Inspire.Create.Stamping Challenge - Sketch Challenge #011

Welcome to my blog and to the inspire.create.stamping Challenges 'Sketch' Challenge #011.

I know a little darling who turned 1 this week, and this creation is for her.

A mix of bits & pieces of some of my favourite products; and I just love the floral circle element of the 'Delightful Daisy' Designer Series Paper.

This is a very simple and sweet creation.

The 'Happy Birthday' sentiment is from the 'Fairy Celebration stamp set.

I also added some 'Very Vanilla Lace Trim' to the embossed 'Crumb Cake' banner.

Colour My World - Creation Station Design Team Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to my blog. I am Denita, and I live in Australia.

This month the Creation Station Design Team have a theme; 'Colour My World'.
You may have hopped from Kerstin - 1 of our very brand new Design Team Members!

I gathered my colouring supplies -

'Stampin' Blends Markers' and the 'Just Add Color Specialty DSP'.

We have an 8 year old in the house!

A nature boy who loves his stingrays, and wouldn't you know it?, Stampin' Up! have outdone themselves with a Manta Ray on the 'Just Add Color Specialty' DSP.

Everything is coloured with our 'Stampin' Blends Markers'.

The colours I have used: 'Bermuda Bay', 'Daffodil Delight', 'Old Olive', 'Pink Pirouette', 'Pool Party', 'Pumpkin Pie' & 'Smoky Slate'. I also used the 'Stampin' Blends Color Lifter' for all the highlights on the Manta Ray.

My tip: I use the lighter of the 2 shades first. Then I bring in the dark shade, and blend again with the light marker. When highlighting I use the 'Color Lifter'.

A 'Happy '8th' Birthday'.

The number '8' - stamped onto 'Vellum' cardstock, and the 'Happy Birthday' sentiment come from 'Number of Years' stamp set.

The 'th' comes from the 'Happy Birthday Thinlits Die' - I found this idea from Holly Stene, who was inspired by Teneale Williams.

Two awesome Stampin' Up! Demonstrators who both inspire me!

A very happy 8 year old.

This is how much we love Stingrays. These beautiful girls swim to our Harbour boat ramp waiting for the fishing boats to come in, and then they get all the fish scraps from the Fishermen. They are gentle & mesmerising to watch.

Every Sunday we visit the Harbour and there we learn about these beautiful creatures by an Ecologist from Into the Wild Nature Tours.

Colour INKspiration Blog Hop #CI18

It's 'Colour INKspiration Colour Challenge' time! Another gorgeous colour combination coming up, and I hope you can play along?

The inspiration for our Colours:

Powder Pink, Basic Gray, Sahara Sand & Sweet Sugarplum + Green of your choice.

'Happy 16th Anniversary'

A 'Happy Anniversary' card for my dear friends created using the 'Number of Years' stamp set & coordinating 'Large Numbers Framelits Dies'.

16 years of married bliss, and a creation for their milestone.

I stamped the numbers using 'Sweet Sugarplum' ink onto 'Powder Pink' cardstock and die-cut them using the 'Large Numbers Framelits Dies'.

I stamped a background using 'Pear Pizzazz' ink for the leaves and 'Powder Pink' ink for the flowers - I stamped off the image, then stamped onto the 'Whisper White' circle for a soft look.

You can just see underneath the Layering Circles some stamped- off 'Powder Pink' dots adding some soft texture to the card front.

I love the 'Powder Pink Finely Woven Ribbon' too!
