Colour INKspiration #CI39

It's Colour INKspiration Colour Challenge time, and we have a beauty of a Challenge for this round.

I have stamped and fussy cut my leaves and flowers from the 'Petal Palette' stamp set.
I know there are dies to coordinate with this set, however, I was in the mood for some cutting. It's a therapy of sorts, and I love how my bouquet turned out.

Details: 

Background: I have used the 'Pinewood Planks Dynamic TIEF'.

Flowers: I stamped first with 'So Saffron' ink, then daubed the edges with 'Calypso Coral' ink.

Baker's Twine wrap & bow: I coloured a length of 'Whisper White Baker's Twine' using the 'Calypso Coral Light Stampin' Blends Marker'.

Sentiment: I have used 2 stamps to create 'For You'. 

I inked the 'For' from the 'For Everything' stamp & then the 'You' from the 'I Just Love You' stamp. 

The sentiment was punched using the '1" Circle Punch', and a '1-1/4" Circle Punch for the  'Calypso Coral' backing.

Next on the hop is Rachel with a really adorable creation using her trio of Subtles Collection colours. You will love it!

Below is the Inspiration photo and our colours for #CI36...

Crushed Curry, Soft Suede, Basic Gray & Silver Foil.

I initially struggled combining the Challenge colours, however, I am happy with my creations.

Using the 'Petal Pallete stamp set for some stamping, 'Petals & More Thinlits Dies' for some die cuts, and colouring the bird with 'Stampin' Write Markers' in 'Crushed Curry', 'Basic Gray' & 'Soft Suede'.

The 'Whisper White Notecards & Envelopes' were the perfect size for my card creation.

I have used a sliver of 'Silver Foil' adhered to the top and bottom of the card.

The 'Silver Mini Gable Box' was a lovely addition to my card.

I love a 3D item to gift with a card, and the 'Silver Mini Gable Boxes' are easy & quick to make up for a little treat box.

International Highlights Winners Blog Hop - January 2018

 Hello, and welcome to my blog. 
I was one of 10 Winners from Kylie Bertucci's International Highlights Blog Hop from December. 
Today, the Top 10 are hopping together and the theme is 'Flowers'.

OK. Flowers. From the Stampin' Up! Catalogues? 
There are so many beautiful products where flowers are concerned, and I have done something a little different...

My 'Flowers' creation.
Using my 'Stampin' Write Markers' in 'Berry Burst', 'Blushing Bride', 'Crushed Curry', 'Fresh Fig' & 'Wild Wasabi';
I have coloured the embossing side of the NEW 'Petal Pair Textured Embossing Folders' and ran it through the 'Big Shot' onto 'Whisper White' cardstock.

 I even made my card an envelope with 'Sahara Sand' cardstock, and using the same 'Petal Pair TIEF' embossed the opening. 
There is some stamping - I used the dots from the 'Petal Palette' stamp set, and 'Sahara Sand' ink. 
And how adorable is the mini tag (Coffee Cups Framelits Dies), heart (Cookie Cutter Builder Punch) and 'Linen Thread'? Adorable!

I fussy cut the embossed flowers. I then adhered the 'Whisper White' onto 'Basic Black' cardstock and fussy cut again.
I know, I know. A lot of fussy cutting. But how awesome is this technique? I really don't know what it's called, so let's go with 'Colour your TIEF and run it through the Big Shot'.
