Colour INKspiration #CI39

It's Colour INKspiration Colour Challenge time, and we have a beauty of a Challenge for this round.

My colours:

So Saffron

I have stamped and fussy cut my leaves and flowers from the 'Petal Palette' stamp set.
I know there are dies to coordinate with this set, however, I was in the mood for some cutting. It's a therapy of sorts, and I love how my bouquet turned out.

Details: 

Background: I have used the 'Pinewood Planks Dynamic TIEF'.

Flowers: I stamped first with 'So Saffron' ink, then daubed the edges with 'Calypso Coral' ink.

Baker's Twine wrap & bow: I coloured a length of 'Whisper White Baker's Twine' using the 'Calypso Coral Light Stampin' Blends Marker'.

Sentiment: I have used 2 stamps to create 'For You'. 

I inked the 'For' from the 'For Everything' stamp & then the 'You' from the 'I Just Love You' stamp. 

The sentiment was punched using the '1" Circle Punch', and a '1-1/4" Circle Punch for the  'Calypso Coral' backing.

Next on the hop is Rachel with a really adorable creation using her trio of Subtles Collection colours. You will love it!

Artistic Expression - Creation Station Design Team Blog Hop

Welcome to my blog, and to the Creation Station Design Team Blog Hop for August. You are visiting Denita, from Australia.

Our theme for this month is 'Artistic Expression' using any stamp set(s) found on pages 126-179 in the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue.

I have chosen 2 stamp sets; 'Abstract Impressions' Bundle & 'Timeless Textures'

stamp sets for my card.

Have you ever noticed the 2 step stamps to create the mini butterfly? It's so cute!

And a splattering of 'Timeless Textures' for the background.

And a matching *gift box, made using the 'Gift Bag Punch Board'.

The 'Petal Pink Metallic Ribbon' is so lovely and I have made it into a belly band.

Using a strip of 'Petal Pink' cardstock, and adding the ribbon to create the closure.

*Cardstock measurements for the Gift Bag: 11" x 8" 

A lovely card and gift bag duo, ready for gifting.

I made the Butterflies antennae using a sliver of 'Basic Black' cardstock and curling with a 'Bone Folder'.

Just Add Ink - Inspiration Challenge #JAI420

We have a fun 'Inspiration' Challenge for Just Add Ink #420
The Design Team have some lovely creations ready to inspire you, and we want you to join in with us.

I have used 9 colours from the Brights Colour Collection to represent the colours in the Inspiration photo;

Poppy Parade, Melon Mambo, Flirty Flamingo, Mango Melody, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay & Gorgeous Grape.

A lovely rainbow of hearts using the 'Wood Words' stamp set, and the coordinating dies from the 'Wood Crate Framelits Dies'.

A background of embossed 'Polka Dots Basics', to add some texture. And a little bit of 'Poppy Parade' cardstock matting.

And some 'Whisper White Baker's Twine' for a little embellishment.

Then the stars came out to play!
