Hello and welcome to my blog.

Choose 3 of the Regal Collection colours, and you can also use the basic colours: 
Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Whisper White & Metallics.

My 3 colours: Cherry Cobbler, Crushed Curry & Garden Green.

A little bit of a tropical style Christmas card.

Perfect for our Australian Christmas, or anywhere else where there isn't snow!

I embossed the 'Vellum' cardstock with the 'Subtle Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder'. I just love that TIEF!

How to achieve the coloured flowers:

 Stamp first using the 'Crushed Curry' ink.

Add 'Cherry Cobbler' ink to the outside of the petals using a 'Sponge Dauber'.

Ta-da!

Just Add Ink #389 - Inspiration Challenge

 Its' the Just Add Ink #389 Inpiration Challenge.

I love the colours and gifts wrapped up in this Inspiration photo.

I just love brown paper packages tied up with string!

 

I have wrapped an 'Acetate Card Box' with the 'Kraft' cardstock from the 'Merry Little Christmas' cardstock pack. Adding some gorgeous 'Jute Twine' - on the 'Discounted Products List', and a handmade tag stamped using the 'Merry Little Labels' stamp set.

 

The tag measures 5.4cm x 9cm (2 1/8" x 3 1/2").

I added a 'Soft Suede' reinforcement ring punched with the '1/2" Circle Punch', and added handrawn detail around the edges using a 'Soft Suede' Stampin' Write Marker. 

The holly leaves and berries were coloured with 'Old Olive and Real Red' Stampin' Write Markers. (Get in quick because these Markers are on the 'Discounted Products List'.)

 

5 cards and envelopes tucked away inside the card box!

 

'Kraft' gift wrapped card and envelope stamped with the 'Hearts Come Home' stamp set. 

 

2 different tags and 'Linen Thread' for the 'Kraft' cards. 

Tags measure 5cm x 7.5cm (2" x 3")

 

'Whisper White' gift wrapped card and envelope.

 

I used all the stamps from the 'Merry Little Labels' stamp set, and added some lovely pine needle die-cuts from the 'Pretty Pines Thinlits Dies' for the greenery.

Inspire.Create.Stamping Challenges - Theme Challenge #003

Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Denita, from Australia, and I am a Design Team Member for the Inspire.Create.Stamping Challenges Blog Hop.
We would love for you to join in with our 'Festive Challenge' #003 for this week and you can add your 'Festive' creation to our gallery here.
 

I have a lovely and simple Christmas card for you to CASE, and not a traditional colour in sight. (I was inspired by a card on page 13 of the Holiday Catalogue.)

 

 I love 'Crumb Cake', and I love water colouring! So, I have combined both of my loves for this little creation.

I also love that you can get all your Christmas cards done with this design. Get your cardstock ready; cut it all up for the card base and also a mat to be embossed with the 'Falling Snow TIEF'.

Hint: You can stamp Santa and his sleigh prior to embossing; the stamped image slips in between the snow fall and it's easier this way than stamping after you have embossed the cardstock.

 

I cut up the 'Shimmery White' cardstock ready for the water colouring.

Now, this is the fun bit! Add water to the 'Shimmery White' cardstock using an 'Aqua Painter'. Then add the inks of your choice; I have used 'Lemon Lime Twist' & 'Emerald Envy' from the Classic Stampin' Pads.

 

Once your water colouring is completely dry, stamp your sentiment on top of the ombre colours. I then adhered some 'Basic Black' cardstock backing to my sentiment and used 'Stampin' Dimensionals' to layer it on my finished creation.
